Container House Qualification Certificate

Admin September 17, 2026

The Container House Qualification Certificate, depending on its type and purpose, mainly includes the Container Panel House Certificate, Integrated Container House Certification, Project Temporary Container-Related Documents, and Container House Modification and Export Certification, among others.

Container Panel House Certificate: When purchasing a container panel house, the manufacturer conducts a quality inspection on the container house in accordance with relevant standards and specifications before the product leaves the factory. Upon passing the inspection, a certificate is issued. This is an important basis for ensuring the quality and safety of the container house. The certificate typically includes key information such as the model, specifications, production date, manufacturer, and inspector's signature of the container house, as well as the relevant standards and specifications that the product complies with.

Integrated Container House Certification: This is a quality evaluation system for modular prefabricated building products, established and led by the China Academy of Building Research Certification Center. The certification process includes document review, on-site inspection covering all production elements, and subsequent supervision. Enterprises that obtain this certification can have their products included in government procurement platforms, thereby enhancing their market competitiveness.

Project Temporary Container-Related Documents: The certification status of project temporary containers depends on the specific circumstances. The manufacturer or installer may provide a direct product certificate to prove that the container house meets specific quality or safety standards. Meanwhile, if the container house is used as a temporary building, a temporary building permit must be applied for from the local construction management department. The issuance of this permit is based on an assessment of whether the building complies with relevant safety, planning, and other standards. Additionally, a fire safety inspection certificate must be obtained to ensure that the construction and use of the container house meet fire safety requirements. If the container house may have an environmental impact, an environmental impact assessment report approval must also be obtained.

Container House Modification and Export Certification: If the modified container house is to be exported to Europe as a building or building module, or as a mobile home, it must obtain CE certification, which is a mandatory conformity mark for the EU market. This ensures that the container house complies with EU standards in terms of structural safety, mechanical safety, fire safety, and electrical safety. Furthermore, all containers exported or transported, whether modified or not, must obtain a CSC certificate, which is a mandatory certificate under international conventions for container shipping. This ensures that the container's structural strength, transportation safety, and stacking load-bearing capacity comply with international maritime requirements.
