Production of Container Houses

Admin September 15, 2026

The production of container houses involves multiple steps, including design, material preparation, structural fabrication, enclosure system installation, interior decoration, and water and electricity installation.

  1. Design Phase: Determine the size, layout, and functional zoning of the container house based on usage requirements and site conditions. The design must consider structural mechanics principles to ensure the stability and safety of the house. Additionally, details such as the positions of doors and windows and the routing of water and electricity lines need to be planned.

  2. Material Preparation: Select structural steel that meets standards, such as hot-dip galvanized cold-formed steel, which offers excellent rust and corrosion resistance. Wall and roof panels are often made of rock wool, glass wool, or polyurethane sandwich panels, providing both thermal insulation and fire resistance. Flooring materials can include cement fiber boards or steel-wood composite floors. Additionally, auxiliary materials such as connectors and sealing materials are required.

  3. Structural Fabrication: Complete the welding of the steel structural framework in a factory to form the main structure of the house. Ensure that welds are full and free of cold welds during welding to guarantee structural integrity. Subsequently, perform surface treatments such as hot-dip galvanizing or spraying anti-corrosion coatings to enhance the durability of the steel.

  4. Enclosure System Installation: Install pre-fabricated wall and roof panels onto the steel structural framework and secure them firmly with connectors. Pay attention to sealing between panels to prevent rainwater leakage. Simultaneously, install doors and windows, ensuring they open smoothly and seal well.

  5. Interior Decoration and Water and Electricity Installation: Conduct interior decoration according to design requirements, such as laying floors and installing ceilings. At the same time, embed and install water and electricity pipelines to ensure convenience and safety in water and electricity usage.

  6. On-site Assembly and Commissioning: Transport the pre-fabricated container house modules to the site and use cranes and other equipment to lift them into position. Connect the water and electricity lines between modules and perform overall commissioning and inspection to ensure the normal use of the house.
