The price of container houses is not fixed per square meter; most manufacturers sell them by the unit, and only for large-scale projects is the price calculated per square meter, typically ranging from several hundred yuan to 4,000 yuan per square meter. Details are as follows:

Conventional Sales Methods: Most manufacturers sell or lease container houses by the unit. Only when users require hundreds or thousands of square meters of container houses will the overall price be calculated based on the price per square meter.

Price Ranges in Different Scenarios:

• By Individual Container:
  • For a standard-sized container house with large corrugated iron rock wool sandwich panels, measuring 3 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.8 meters in height, with an area of 9 square meters, the general price is around 7,500 yuan per unit; for one measuring 6 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.8 meters in height, with an area of 18 square meters, the general price is around 11,000 yuan per unit; for one measuring 7 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.8 meters in height, with an area of 21 square meters, the general price is around 12,600 yuan per unit. Used containers are cheaper, but the price depends on their condition.
  • Container houses made of foam sandwich panels and other materials cost between 5,500 and 8,000 yuan per unit.
  • Taking the most common 3×6-meter standard container as an example, the factory price for a standard model (cold-galvanized channel steel + square tube) is 5,500 yuan, while that for a reinforced model (hot-galvanized channel steel + square tube) is 6,500 yuan. These prices include the floor, doors and windows, electrical circuits, switches and sockets, lighting, ceiling, and full interior decoration.
• Estimated Price per Square Meter:
  • The price of ordinary second-hand containers on the market ranges from 12,000 to 30,000 yuan, which translates to approximately 800 to 1,500 yuan per square meter. If interior decoration and functional configurations are added, the overall cost may rise to 2,000 to 4,000 yuan per square meter.
  • Building a large container villa will cost no more than 1,000 yuan per square meter on average. Of course, if higher-end materials are used, the price will be higher.
