Where to Connect the Power for Container Houses
The power for container houses is generally connected through an external main power supply or an internal power distribution system, depending on the design and purpose of the container house.

External Main Power Connection
For standard container-style mobile homes or office buildings, an external power connection interface is usually reserved on the exterior of the house. For example, in the products of Shanghai Dongguilian Container Leasing Co., Ltd., the exterior of the container is equipped with a 3-core cable socket. Users only need to connect the external power cord to this socket to supply power to the equipment inside the house. This design is suitable for temporary or semi-permanent buildings, such as construction site offices, shopping malls, and warehouses. The power connection method is similar to that of ordinary buildings, but it is necessary to ensure that the cable specifications meet the power load requirements.Internal Power Distribution System Design
Some container houses, such as energy storage systems or intelligent refrigerated containers, integrate an independent power distribution system. For example, in a container-style lead-acid battery energy storage system, each standard 40-foot container is equipped with a power distribution box and battery DC busbar equipment, distributing power to various electrical equipment through internal wiring. This type of design is mostly used in industrial or special-purpose scenarios, where the power connection point may be located in a specific compartment of the container (such as the busbar compartment) and requires operation by professionals.Mobile Power or Shore Power Connection
For marine container-style mobile power sources or electric cargo ships, the power connection method is more special. For example, marine container-style lithium-ion mobile power sources must comply with the specifications of the China Classification Society (CCS) and achieve a "charging and swapping" power replenishment method through dedicated plugs, sockets, and couplers. In port scenarios, such power sources may be quickly connected to electricity through a DC shore power system, shortening the waiting time for ships to dock, but requiring supporting high-voltage cables and insulation detection equipment.Safety Precautions
Regardless of the connection method used, it is necessary to ensure that grounding protection measures are in place. For example, in the power supply and distribution system of a computer room, three-level lightning protection (at the incoming line of the power distribution cabinet, the UPS power distribution box, and the dedicated lightning protection socket) is set up, and it is strictly prohibited to use the neutral line as an AC protective grounding line. In addition, attention should also be paid to the waterproof performance of container houses to prevent rainwater from seeping into the circuit pipelines due to cracking of the sealant.
