Container House Power Connection Method
The power connection method for container houses should be combined with professional design specifications and safety standards, mainly involving steps such as power distribution system planning, circuit embedding, equipment installation, and grounding protection, as follows:

I. Power Distribution System Planning
The power distribution system of a container house should be designed with three-phase balance according to the types of electrical loads (such as lighting, air conditioning, sockets, etc.) to ensure the stability of power supply and consumption. For example, in the power distribution plan for a container energy storage system, the three-wire power input of the AC power distribution integrated box is drawn from the AC-side power of the energy storage converter and connected to power supply circuits for air conditioning, fans, lighting, etc. For multi-container combined buildings, refer to the simplified diagram of multi-household power consumption and distribute power to each unit through a power distribution cabinet to avoid circuit overload.
II. Circuit Embedding and Wiring
- Ceiling Wiring System: Use embedded conduit pipes to arrange crisscrossing conduit pipes in the ceiling cavity, connect them through junction boxes, connect the conduit pipes on the right side to the circuit power distribution box, and set up power connector storage slots on the right end beam columns of the ceiling for easy connection of external power sources. This design can hide the circuits and enhance aesthetics and safety.
- Waterproofing and Protection: The circuits should avoid the seams of the container to prevent rainwater infiltration. If the container is used in a humid environment (such as vertical farming on a farm), apply waterproof glue on the roof and choose moisture-proof conduit pipes and junction boxes.
III. Power Distribution Box and Equipment Installation
- Power Distribution Box Selection: Select a power distribution box with an appropriate specification according to the electrical load. It should be equipped with screw-type fuses (the power line is connected to the middle contact, and the load line is connected to the threaded terminal) or porcelain plug-in fuses (installed vertically), and clearly mark power sources of different voltage levels.
- Fixing Method: If the container is surface-mounted, the power distribution box should be fixed to the wall with anchor bolts, ensuring a vertical deviation of ≤3mm. If it is flush-mounted, reserve holes during wall construction, fill with concrete for fixation after installation, and apply anti-corrosion paint on the panel edges to ensure they are tightly attached to the wall.
IV. Grounding and Safety Protection
Container houses must be equipped with a grounding system to prevent electrical accidents. The grounding wire should be connected to the metal frame of the container and the outer casings of all electrical equipment, and the grounding resistance should comply with national standards. In addition, a leakage protection device should be installed in the power distribution box, and the insulation performance should be regularly tested.
