Container House Partition Installation

Admin September 15, 2026

The installation of partitions in container houses requires following professional steps to ensure structural stability and functional integrity.

I. Basic Preparation and Material Selection

  1. Foundation Leveling: Before installation, ensure the ground is level. Level the foundations around the perimeter and partition walls to prevent deformation or loose connections due to uneven ground.
  2. Material Selection: Partition boards are typically made of composite or magnesium oxide boards, with thickness selected based on design requirements (e.g., 50MM/75MM/100MM) to suit different climatic conditions. Connectors such as angle aluminum and channel aluminum should be fixed with high-strength bolts, avoiding welding processes to comply with environmental standards.

II. Partition Installation Steps

  1. Angle Aluminum Fixation:
    • Use rivets to fix angle aluminum on one side at the installation position of the partition board. Install the full wall panel first, followed by the smaller side panels and header panels near the door.
    • Install channel aluminum at the door frame. The opposite angle aluminum on the wall and ceiling should be fixed after the wall panel installation is complete to ensure structural stability.
  2. Internal Corner Treatment:
    • Cut angle aluminum according to internal dimensions and install the top corner molding counterclockwise. Do not overlap angle aluminum at corners to avoid compromising sealing.
  3. Window Installation:
    • Fix the window frame aluminum at a 45-degree angle to the composite board, connect with rivets, then install the window. Adjust the position and secure it to the window frame aluminum with self-drilling screws.

III. Key Considerations

  1. Sealing and Moisture Protection:
    • Use sealant around doors, windows, container joints, and roof gutters. Replace the sealant every 5-7 years to prevent water accumulation and steel plate corrosion.
    • Elevate the container on pile foundations to avoid direct ground contact and moisture intrusion. Apply anti-rust treatment (e.g., epoxy primer + topcoat) to the bottom.
  2. Structural Maintenance:
    • Inspect welds, corners, and the base annually. Immediately grind and repaint any rust spots to prevent spreading.
    • Ensure wire ropes are secure during the installation of foldable container houses. Keep non-professionals away from the installation area to avoid accidents.

IV. Customization and Sustainability Design

  1. Customized Services:
    • Adjust partition layouts according to user needs, incorporating multifunctional furniture (e.g., foldable beds, integrated cabinets) to enhance space utilization.
  2. Environmental Protection and Reusability:
    • Use high-strength bolts for connections, eliminating the need for welding and supporting secondary or multiple disassemblies, aligning with low-carbon environmental standards.
    • The exterior can be painted or fitted with glass curtain walls for both aesthetics and practicality.
