Container House Not Warm
The warmth of container houses can be achieved by selecting appropriate insulation materials, optimizing structural design, enhancing airtightness, equipping heating facilities, and implementing other warmth-preservation measures. Details are as follows:

I. Select Appropriate Insulation Materials
For exterior wall insulation, materials such as EPS (expanded polystyrene) boards, rock wool boards, polyurethane boards, silicate wool, or foam polystyrene boards can be chosen. These materials have excellent insulation properties and can effectively prevent heat loss. For interior wall insulation, closed-cell insulation methods can be adopted, using materials like rock wool or expanded perlite boards. Alternatively, materials such as plaster, adobe walls, or wooden boards can be used for spray-on insulation. For example, regular cultural and tourism space capsules are internally filled with high-density insulation rock wool, combined with thermal break insulation technology to block heat and cold conduction, effectively improving indoor temperature.
II. Optimize Structural Design
In the structural design of container houses, insulation structures can be designed at connection points and corners, isolating the installation of doors and windows and filling gaps to effectively reduce indoor temperature loss and achieve better insulation effects. For instance, the national "Technical Standard for Steel Structure Integrated Houses" explicitly requires that the heat transfer coefficient of residential container walls should be ≤0.45W/(㎡·K), equivalent to 1.8 times the insulation efficiency of traditional brick-and-mortar walls.
III. Enhance Airtightness
Ensuring that windows and doors are well-sealed can effectively prevent cold air from entering the interior, maintaining indoor warmth. In snowy weather, airtightness is particularly important to prevent snowflakes from entering through gaps and keeping the interior dry and warm.
IV. Equip Heating Facilities
Modern container houses are usually equipped with various heating facilities, such as electric heaters and air conditioners, which can effectively raise indoor temperatures. However, it is important to conserve energy, avoid waste, and regularly inspect and maintain the container house to ensure it is in good working condition.
V. Other Warmth-Preservation Measures
Laying warm carpets on the floor and using insulation boards for warmth preservation at the bedside are also effective methods to improve the warmth of container houses.
