Container House Maintenance Port
The design of maintenance ports for container houses should be comprehensively determined based on specific equipment layout, maintenance requirements, and aesthetic considerations. Common types include central air conditioning maintenance ports, flue maintenance ports, and equipment container maintenance entrances. Their sizes, materials, and installation methods should meet functional and concealment requirements.

Central Air Conditioning Maintenance Port
Central air conditioning maintenance ports are typically located within the suspended ceiling, requiring sufficient space to be reserved for personnel to enter for maintenance. Size requirements: The maintenance port size should not be less than 35cm×35cm, with a recommended size of 45cm×45cm to ensure that personnel can enter with their shoulders and operate conveniently. Type selection:
- Framed maintenance ports: There are three types: lifting, magnetic, and lock-hole. The low-cost lifting type is recommended. In terms of material, aluminum alloy is superior to PVC as it is less prone to discoloration and has a longer service life.
- Frameless maintenance ports: These feature a built-in frame design, with only fine lines visible on the exterior. The frame is made of aluminum alloy, and the cover plate is made of gypsum board. After being painted with latex paint, it matches the color of the ceiling, offering better aesthetics at a price similar to that of framed maintenance ports.
Installation method: Purchase the maintenance port before the carpentry ceiling work. The carpenter will create wooden keels based on the outer diameter and reserved position, fix the frame with self-tapping screws, and install the cover plate before painting it together with the ceiling using latex paint.
Flue Maintenance Port
The need to reserve a flue maintenance port depends on the position of the check valve:
- Check valve in the hanging cabinet or integrated suspended ceiling: No separate maintenance port needs to be reserved as the hanging cabinet or integrated suspended ceiling can be easily disassembled.
- Check valve in the gypsum board or honeycomb panel suspended ceiling: Reserve a maintenance port by referring to the air conditioning maintenance port. Customized maintenance ports are available for honeycomb panel suspended ceilings.
- Check valve in the suspended ceiling above the hanging cabinet: Reserve a maintenance port based on the actual situation.
Equipment Container Maintenance Entrance
The maintenance entrance for equipment containers should be designed based on equipment layout and maintenance requirements:
- Multi-door structure: For example, a 15-meter multi-door equipment container has multiple door bodies arranged along the length of the container, providing direct operation and maintenance entrances for the equipment and avoiding the concentration of all equipment maintenance at one end door.
- Openings and doors and windows: Clearly define the positions of equipment access doors, personnel doors, and maintenance doors, corresponding to the maintenance positions of fans, filters, pump valves, etc. The purposes, positions, sizes, and sealing methods of pipeline holes and cable holes should be clearly specified in the drawings.
