Leakage Prevention Measures for Container Houses

Admin September 16, 2026

Comprehensive measures for preventing electrical leakage in container houses should be taken from multiple aspects, including material selection, installation specifications, routine maintenance, and the installation of safety devices:

Material Selection and Component Quality

Qualified component materials are the foundation for preventing electrical leakage. Materials such as channel steel for support or framework and wall sandwich steel plates must meet quality standards. The thickness of the channel steel is a key indicator, as it not only affects the number of layers that container houses can be stacked but also relates to the overall structural stability and safety. If the material quality is poor, problems such as rusting and deformation are likely to occur, which can damage the insulation layer of electrical wiring and increase the risk of electrical leakage. For example, using fire-resistant rock wool sandwich wall panels can not only meet insulation requirements but also achieve a certain level of flame retardancy, reducing the possibility of electrical leakage caused by fires.

Standardized Installation of Electrical Wiring

When installing electrical wires, strict adherence to specifications is necessary to prevent electrical leakage due to contact with rainwater, etc. When installing electrical wires around the perimeter of a container house, it should be done in a shaded and rain-protected environment to ensure that wire connections are well-sealed and prevent rainwater infiltration. At the same time, plan the wiring route reasonably to avoid contact with sharp objects and high-temperature objects, preventing damage to the insulation layer. The installation of internal electrical wiring should comply with relevant standards, using qualified electrical components such as wires, sockets, and switches, and ensuring good grounding to introduce leakage current into the ground and safeguard personnel safety.

Regular Maintenance and Inspection

Regular maintenance and inspection of the electrical system in container houses are crucial. Check for signs of aging or damage in electrical wires and replace aging wires promptly. Examine sockets and switches for looseness or overheating to ensure they are functioning properly. Check the reliability of grounding devices and whether the grounding resistance meets requirements. In addition, inspect the overall structure of the house to prevent damage to electrical wiring due to structural deformation.

Installation of Leakage Protection Devices

Install leakage protectors in the electrical system of container houses. When electrical leakage occurs, the leakage protector can quickly cut off the power supply to prevent personnel from electric shock accidents. At the same time, regularly test the leakage protector to ensure its sensitivity and reliability so that it can function effectively at critical moments.
