Interior Wall Materials for Container Houses

Admin September 17, 2026

There are various interior wall materials for container houses, commonly including integrated wall panels, rock wool sandwich panels, aluminized zinc light panels, corrugated panels, color-steel sandwich panels, bamboo-wood fiber panels, carbon crystal panels, rigid polyurethane panels, and glass wool panels, among others.

Integrated wall panels are made of flat and corrugated materials, featuring aesthetics, moisture resistance, and corrosion resistance. They are suitable for temporary living and storage spaces, and their colors and sizes can be customized according to needs.

Rock wool sandwich panels have a galvanized steel frame as the main structure, offering flame retardancy, thermal insulation, and sound insulation properties. They are suitable for places with high fire safety requirements. Rock wool panels, made from natural rocks, are lightweight, have high strength, significant sound insulation effects, excellent fire resistance, and also possess superior thermal insulation and moisture resistance properties. They are widely used in the interior walls of container houses.

Aluminized zinc light panels have high strength and corrosion resistance, with a thickness of 0.6mm, making them suitable for scenarios requiring lightweight and durability.

Corrugated panels have magnesium oxysulfide as the core material, featuring fire resistance, high-temperature resistance, sound insulation, and thermal insulation properties. With a bending strength of up to 150MPa, they are suitable for the construction of factory areas and community service stations.

Color-steel sandwich panels are flexibly detachable, with a thickness of 0.55mm and light weight, suitable for temporary building needs. Color-steel panels include polystyrene color-steel panels, polyurethane color-steel panels, rock wool color-steel panels, and glass wool color-steel sandwich panels, among others. They have good thermal insulation, sound insulation, and fire resistance properties and are commonly used for the walls and roofs of container houses.

Bamboo-wood fiber panels are made by mixing bamboo fibers, wood fibers, calcium powder, and resins. They have good environmental performance, sound insulation and noise reduction, and waterproof functions. They are easy to install and are commonly used for the interior wall decoration of container houses.

Carbon crystal panels are made by blending natural bamboo powder, calcium powder, new polymer composite materials, carbon crystal powder, and PVC powder. They have high strength and rigidity, are lightweight, have good weather resistance, and also possess good fire resistance properties, suitable for the interior decoration of container houses.

Rigid polyurethane panels use polyurethane foam as the core material, with galvanized steel plates or color-steel plates on both sides. They have good thermal insulation properties, effectively reducing the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor spaces. They also have waterproof, moisture-proof, corrosion-resistant, and fire-resistant properties, making them suitable for the walls of container houses.

Glass wool panels have stronger fire resistance than polyurethane and are moderately priced. However, they should not be exposed to water and need to be wrapped with a layer of color-steel plates for protection.
