Container House Interior Ceiling

Admin September 15, 2026

For the interior ceiling of container houses, materials such as galvanized corrugated sheets, aluminum grille channels, aluminum ceiling tiles, calcium silicate boards, or metal panels can be selected, depending on insulation, fire resistance, aesthetics, and budget requirements.

1. Galvanized Corrugated Sheets
Galvanized corrugated sheets are commonly used as the original ceiling panels in container houses. Their advantages include low cost (approximately 9.5-10 yuan per set), strong corrosion resistance, and high compatibility with the overall structure of the container. However, the uneven surface of corrugated sheets may affect aesthetics when used directly as a ceiling, requiring painting or covering with other materials to improve visual appeal. For those seeking an industrial style or a low-cost solution, the original sheets can be retained and treated for rust prevention.

2. Aluminum Grille Channels or Aluminum Ceiling Tiles
Aluminum grille channels (approximately 4.75-5 yuan per square meter) and aluminum ceiling tiles are common ceiling decoration materials with fire-resistant, moisture-proof, and easy-to-clean properties. Aluminum grille channels are suitable for scenarios requiring concealed piping or lighting installation, allowing for different visual effects by adjusting the grille spacing. Aluminum ceiling tiles are more suitable for areas requiring a flat surface, such as bathrooms or kitchens, and can be paired with windproof aluminum strips for enhanced stability. These materials are lightweight, easy to install, and support custom engineering to meet irregular space requirements.

3. Calcium Silicate Boards or Metal Panels
For a higher-end ceiling effect, calcium silicate boards or metal panels can be chosen. Calcium silicate boards offer excellent fire resistance (Class A non-combustible) and good sound insulation and thermal insulation properties, making them suitable for places with high safety requirements. Metal panels (such as steel or aluminum panels) have a modern look and can be customized with different colors or textures for personalized design. These materials require installation with light steel keels or special hangers, with relatively higher costs but longer service life.

4. Composite Material Ceilings
For container houses requiring long-term use (such as guesthouses or office spaces), rock wool, glass wool, or polyurethane sandwich panels can be used as ceiling materials. These materials combine insulation and fire resistance functions and can be covered with metal panels or calcium silicate boards to enhance aesthetics. For example, in cold regions, polyurethane foam can be filled inside the ceiling and covered with aluminum foil to enhance thermal insulation and prevent condensation.
