Container House Installer

Admin September 15, 2026

Container house installers are primarily responsible for the on-site installation, assembly, and related construction work of container houses. The specific responsibilities and skill requirements are as follows:

I. Core Responsibilities

  1. Foundation Construction and Pre-treatment
They need to level the site according to design requirements to ensure that the foundation bearing capacity meets the standards. For example, for container houses used outdoors for a long time, drainage pipes need to be pre-buried in advance to avoid water accumulation problems. In some scenarios, concrete piers need to be poured or anti-corrosion wooden exterior walls need to be laid to enhance structural stability.
  2. Modular Assembly and Hoisting
They use professional tools (such as blind rivets and angle aluminum) to fix wall panels, roof panels, and partitions, and complete the connection of reserved interfaces for doors, windows, and electrical circuits. For example, for packing-box units, whole wall panels need to be installed first, and then the door-side small panels and door-head panels are gradually spliced. During hoisting, appropriate points need to be selected to prevent structural deformation.
  3. Functional System Integration
They install thermal insulation layers (such as soundproof cotton and heat-insulating cotton), lightning protection devices, and waterproof coatings to ensure that the houses can adapt to different climatic conditions. For example, construction sites in the north need to install air-conditioning facilities to cope with the severe cold in winter; in high-mountain and wilderness scenarios, lightning rods need to be installed to prevent lightning strikes.
  4. Quality Inspection and Debugging
They check the airtightness, fire resistance, and electrical safety of container houses, fill in inspection records, and report any abnormalities. For example, they need to confirm whether the drainage slope is reasonable and whether the doors and windows open and close smoothly to ensure that the houses meet the usage standards.

II. Skill and Qualification Requirements

  1. Professional Skills
They need to master basic techniques such as steel structure welding, color steel plate cutting, and electrical circuit wiring, and be familiar with the modular design principles of container houses. For example, when installing partition panels, blind rivets are used to fix angle aluminum, and window frame aluminum needs to be spliced at a 45-degree angle and fixed to the composite panel.
  2. Safety Regulations
They need to strictly abide by operating procedures for work at heights, electrical safety, and fire and explosion prevention, and wear protective equipment (such as safety belts and insulating gloves). For example, during hoisting, warning areas need to be set up to prevent personnel from entering by mistake; before welding operations, flammable materials need to be cleaned up.
  3. Experience and Qualifications
They are usually required to have more than 2 years of experience in electromechanical installation and have a secondary vocational education or above (electromechanical major is preferred). Some enterprises require them to hold welder certificates, electrician certificates, or special operation operation certificates to ensure construction compliance.

III. Industry Application Scenarios
Container house installers are widely used in fields such as construction sites, field exploration, municipal engineering, and cultural and tourism campsites, and are responsible for the construction and maintenance of temporary dormitories, offices, sentry boxes, and mobile shops.
