Container House Installation Site

Admin September 15, 2026

At the container house installation site, it is crucial to focus on foundation treatment, structural assembly, concealed electrical and plumbing work, and safety protection measures. The specific operational points are as follows:

I. Foundation Treatment and Drainage Design
Container houses have strict requirements for ground foundations and require brick or concrete foundations based on the usage scenario. Before installation, measure the wall foundation axis dimensions, with deviations controlled within ±25mm and wall height deviations not exceeding 10mm. For long-term outdoor use, it is recommended to pour concrete piers at the bottom to enhance stability. The drainage system is a critical component; the ground level should be higher than the surrounding environment, drainage ditches should be excavated around the container, and a gable-shaped canopy should be installed on top to guide rainwater away. For example, when installing in Shanghai, it is necessary to consider connecting to the municipal water supply system or adding water tanks to address water supply issues simultaneously.

II. Structural Assembly and Reinforcement Techniques
Assembly should follow the principle of “framework first, then enclosure”:

  1. Use expansion screws to secure the chassis to the foundation, install steel beams one by one, and correct their verticality with a plumb line, with spacing errors less than 5mm;
  2. All steel structure connections should be fastened with high-strength screws, and horizontal supports should be welded at the intersections of square tube columns and steel beams;
  3. For flooring, use magnesium oxide board as the base material, snap chalk lines at the joints, and secure them with cross-head dovetail screws, with nail spacing controlled between 300-350mm;
  4. When installing wall panels, reserve spaces for doors and windows, and immediately complete joint waterproofing after covering the roof panels.
    For wind resistance requirements, when installing in mountainous or wilderness areas, steel frames should be added at the four corners of the container, and the depth of the concrete piers at the bottom should exceed 50cm.

III. Specifications for Concealed Electrical and Plumbing Work

  1. Electrical wiring should be embedded in PVC pipes, with sockets installed at a height of no less than 30cm from the ground to prevent rainwater intrusion;
  2. For wet areas such as bathrooms, double waterproofing should be applied: apply PVC adhesive to the base layer, then lay floor covering, and use welding techniques at the joints;
  3. Water supply pipelines should be pressure-tested to 1.5 times the working pressure and maintained for 2 hours without leakage;
  4. During concealed work inspections, focus on checking areas such as steel beam wire penetrations and wall panel joints to ensure no exposed wires or gaps.

IV. Safety Protection and Acceptance Standards

  1. During lifting operations, non-workers should evacuate to a safe distance, and wire ropes should be inspected daily;
  2. In areas prone to thunderstorms, lightning rods must be installed, with grounding resistance less than 4Ω;
  3. After completion, conduct a roof water pouring test to verify drainage effectiveness and use a laser level to check wall flatness;
  4. Before delivery, provide a structural load-bearing capacity test report, with the wind resistance rating meeting or exceeding Level 12 standards.
