Container House Has Fleas
Fleas in container houses can be comprehensively dealt with through thorough cleaning, pet treatment, use of insecticides, physical prevention and control, and seeking professional help.

Thoroughly Clean the Environment
Fleas like to hide in crevices, carpets, mattresses, etc. First, use a vacuum cleaner to deeply vacuum the container house, paying special attention to areas such as floor crevices, corners, and under sofas. After vacuuming, immediately seal and discard the dust bag to prevent fleas from escaping. Wash washable fabrics such as bedding and curtains with hot water above 60℃ and dry them at high temperatures. Seal non-washable items in plastic bags and leave them for several weeks to let the eggs die naturally. For non-washable soft furnishings, use a steam cleaner for high-temperature treatment, which can effectively kill adult fleas, larvae, and eggs.
Treat Pets
If there are pets in the house, they may be the main carriers of fleas. Use pet-specific topical or oral flea control medications for pets, such as those containing fipronil, selamectin, or fluralaner. Consult a veterinarian before use and choose the appropriate dosage based on the pet's weight and age. At the same time, use a fine-toothed flea comb to comb the pet's fur and put the combed fleas into soapy water to kill them. Also, wash and disinfect the pet's bedding and toys.
Use Insecticides
After cleaning, use flea-specific insecticides for environmental spraying. Choose insecticides containing pyrethroid ingredients, such as permethrin and cypermethrin, and focus on spraying areas where fleas are likely to hide, such as carpet edges, skirting boards, under furniture, and bed board crevices. After spraying, close the doors and windows for 2 - 4 hours and then open them for ventilation. Keep pets, children, and food away during use to avoid contact.
Physical Prevention and Control
Place flea sticky traps in the corners of the room to catch fleas using their phototropic and thermotropic characteristics. Or put soapy water in a shallow dish and place a small night light on it. Fleas will jump into the water and get trapped and drown. Keep the room dry and well-ventilated, and use a dehumidifier to control the humidity below 50% because fleas are less likely to survive and reproduce in a dry environment.
Seek Professional Help
If the flea problem is still severe or recurring after trying the above methods, it is advisable to contact a professional pest control company. They can use more efficient equipment and more professional insecticides for thorough treatment.
