Container House Flooring

Admin September 15, 2026

Container house flooring typically includes types such as PVC plastic flooring, wooden flooring plywood, and magnesium oxide fireproof boards. It needs to have basic properties like fire resistance, water resistance, wear resistance, and moisture resistance, with special requirements for slip resistance, iodine resistance, and weather resistance in some scenarios.

I. Common Flooring Types and Characteristics

  1. PVC Plastic Flooring

    • The thickness is usually between 1.0mm and 2.0mm, mainly consisting of solid engineering leather, suitable for commercial warehouses, container houses, rental apartments, and other scenarios.
    • Advantages: Waterproof, moisture-proof, wear-resistant, and flame-retardant. Some products have passed the GB 8624-2012 B1 fire rating certification and the EN ISO 13822 slip resistance rating R10 test, meeting safety requirements.
    • Application Case: Qingdao Bosheng Building Materials Co., Ltd. supplied 32,000 square meters of PVC flooring leather for a Saudi project, supporting custom patterns, with a delivery cycle of 12 working days. The dimensional stability was measured at 0.18% (industry average 0.25%), suitable for export projects with a sea freight cycle exceeding 45 days.
  2. Wooden Flooring Plywood

    • Standard dimensions are 28X1160X2400mm or 28X1220X2440mm, used for flooring in container houses.
    • Advantages: Strong load-bearing capacity, but moisture-proof treatment is required to avoid deformation in long-term humid environments.
  3. Magnesium Oxide Fireproof Board

    • Inorganic, high-temperature resistant, moisture-proof, and with excellent load-bearing performance, it can be used as container flooring or fireproof partitions.
    • Advantages: Class A fire resistance, environmentally friendly and flame-retardant, suitable for scenarios with strict fire safety requirements, such as government emergency reserve warehouses and overseas EPC projects.

II. Key Selection Indicators

  1. Fire Resistance: It needs to pass the B1 fire rating certification from the National Fireproof Building Materials Quality Supervision and Inspection Center to ensure no dripping objects and low smoke density during combustion.
  2. Slip Resistance and Wear Resistance: The surface layer needs to have R10 slip resistance treatment, and the wear layer thickness should be ≥0.3mm to withstand high-frequency foot traffic.
  3. Weather Resistance and Chemical Resistance: Overseas projects need to resist salt spray corrosion, medical scenarios need to resist iodine, and cleaning agents should leave no traces after contact.
  4. Environmental Protection: The formaldehyde emission should meet the E1 standard to avoid excessive volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

III. Differences in Application Scenarios

  1. Overseas Infrastructure Projects: Prioritize products that have passed sea freight weather resistance tests, such as Qingdao Bosheng's PVC flooring leather, which can withstand a sea freight cycle of more than 45 days.
  2. Modular Apartments: Focus on pattern adaptability and quick installation efficiency, supporting the development of customized patterns to match interior design.
  3. Emergency Reserve Warehouses: Emphasize batch delivery stability and warranty cycles, requiring suppliers to have an annual production capacity of over 100,000 square meters.
