Container House Floor Rubber Cleaning
Admin September 16, 2026
For cleaning the floor rubber of container houses, use neutral detergents and avoid strong acids and alkalis. Clean regularly and carry out daily and monthly maintenance, and take targeted treatment measures for different types of stains.

Detergent Selection
Use neutral detergents for cleaning. The use of strong acid or alkaline detergents is strictly prohibited. These detergents can corrode the surface of the floor rubber, leading to material aging, discoloration, or loss of luster, and shortening its service life. For example, chlorine-containing detergents or strongly alkaline industrial detergents should not be used for cleaning the floor rubber.
Daily Cleaning and Maintenance
- Daily cleaning: Clean the floor with a 90% dry mop to avoid water residue that may cause the floor rubber to swell or become moldy. If there is severe local contamination (such as food residues or oil stains), immediately wipe it with a neutral detergent and a soft cloth to prevent the stains from penetrating.
- Monthly maintenance: Perform a comprehensive cleaning once a month and apply waxing treatment to locally damaged areas. Waxing forms a protective layer, enhances the wear resistance of the floor rubber, and improves its luster. It is recommended to choose a special wax compatible with the floor rubber material and avoid using inferior wax that may cause the surface to turn yellow or crack.
Special Stain Treatment
- Ink, food, and greasy stains: First, absorb the dirt with a dry cloth, and then wipe the traces with a diluted neutral detergent. If there are residual black shoe prints, gently scrub with a gauze dipped in a small amount of turpentine. However, note that it is strictly prohibited to pour turpentine directly onto the floor. After scrubbing, immediately apply wax for maintenance to prevent damage to the floor rubber.
- Scratch treatment: For minor scratches, use a special plastic floor scratch cleaner. Spray it and then wipe it with a soft cloth to repair the scratches. If the scratches are deep, contact a professional to assess whether local replacement of the floor rubber is necessary.
Protective Measures
- Sand and gravel protection: Place sand and gravel protection mats at the entrance of the container house to prevent the floor rubber surface from being scratched by sand and gravel on the soles of shoes.
- Item handling protection: When handling metal sharp objects, pad them with soft materials (such as foam boards). Do not drag them directly on the floor rubber to prevent scratches.
- Fire and smoke protection: It is strictly prohibited to place burning cigarette butts, mosquito coils, or high-temperature metal objects directly on the floor rubber to prevent burns or fires.
