Container House Floor Plan Images

Admin September 16, 2026

Currently, we cannot directly provide floor plan images of container houses, but we can introduce common types and characteristics of container house floor plan layouts based on relevant case descriptions.

Single Container Transformation

  • Small Single-Room Layout: Common in scenarios where people pursue a simple lifestyle or temporary residence. For example, a foreigner transformed a 15㎡ forest container into a small home. The overall design is open, flexibly integrating functional areas such as the kitchen and bedroom. The kitchen is in a linear shape, saving space and facilitating storage. The bedroom bed is foldable, serving as a sofa during the day and a bed at night. There are numerous cabinets on the side and top walls for storage, and a small stove in the middle for heating.
  • Clear Functional Zoning Type: Some single-container transformations strive to divide relatively independent functional areas. For instance, some will set up a bathroom at one end of the container with a dry-wet separation design; the other end is planned as a bedroom and a simple living space, with appropriate separation using partitions or furniture in the middle.

Multiple Container Connections

  • Two-Container Connection: For example, a 100-square-meter single-story small mansion is formed by connecting two containers. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are connected to create a spacious public activity area. It also has two bedrooms and a bathroom with a bathtub, meeting the basic functional needs of family living.
  • Multi-Container Combination: Like a small guesthouse made up of four 6-meter-long containers, with two on the lower level and two on the upper level. The lower level has sanitary facilities, a technical room, a storage room, and a four-bed guest room. The upper level has four guest rooms sharing the same terrace for enjoying the surrounding scenery. There is also a family-style residence transformed from nine containers. The various parts of the house are decorated, with numerous large windows designed to provide natural light, retaining the unique corrugated metal interior walls and ceilings of the containers.
