Container House Fixing Methods

Admin September 14, 2026

Container house fixing methods mainly include bottom frame installation fixing, fastening device fixing, welding fixing, and the use of auxiliary tools for fixing, etc..

Bottom frame installation fixing: On a flat ground or workbench, connect the bottom corners of the container to the bottom beams. Use hexagon socket bolts for connection but do not tighten them temporarily. After adjusting to ensure that the diagonal difference of the bottom frame is ≤3mm, tighten the bolts. Install π-shaped secondary beams according to the positioning hole positions on the long beams and fix them with self-tapping screws and round-head drill tail screws. Lay the floor base plates in a specific direction, mark them, and then lay the floor. Fix the floor by nailing according to the marks. Finally, perform floor sanding, gluing, and laying of floor adhesives. Through these steps, ensure the stability of the bottom frame and floor parts, laying a foundation for the overall fixing of the container house.

Fastening device fixing: Use a fastening device composed of steel wire ropes, steel wire rope guides, steel wire rope clamps, and torsion components. The steel wire ropes encircle the four sides of the container. The steel wire rope guides are fixed to the corner posts. The steel wire rope clamps restrict the rotation of the steel wire ropes. The torsion steel bars are rigidly connected to the steel wire ropes. By twisting the torsion steel bars to tighten the steel wire ropes, temporarily encircle a row of containers as a whole. Finally, fix and connect the containers one by one, which can effectively solve the fastening problem between container houses of different specifications.

Welding fixing: Use materials such as channel steel and square tubes. Channel steel is used to weld the main crossbeams around the top and bottom of the container. The thickness of the columns should be no less than 1mm and should be pressed into shape with professional equipment or purchased ready-made. The channel steel and columns form the skeleton of the container house. Connect the various components by welding to provide support and fixing, determining the sturdiness of the house.

Use of auxiliary tools for fixing: For example, with anchor locks, embed the four feet of the container into the anchor locks on the iron stools. Turn the small iron rods to make the triangular components rotate and hold the feet of the container. One end of the tie rods is inserted into the corner holes of the container, and the other end is tied to the deck floor hooks. In combination with connecting rods and bolts, make the containers a unified whole, with forces relying on and sharing each other. Bridge locks are installed on the two upward-facing foot holes where the containers are in close contact with each other, making the entire row of containers tightly fastened together.
