Container House Field Training

Admin September 15, 2026

Container houses offer advantages such as easy assembly and disassembly, diverse functions, and strong adaptability in field training, significantly enhancing the field support capabilities of the military.

I. Easy Assembly and Disassembly, Improving Deployment Efficiency
Container houses adopt a modular design, using standard containers as basic units, enabling rapid assembly through splicing, folding, or expansion. For example, field folding barracks can be erected by a few soldiers within 15 minutes, and the new folding insulated modules can be combined into standardized containers after disassembly for easy containerized transportation. This design significantly shortens the military's occupation period, meets the needs of frequent troop rotations, and transforms the process of setting up camp from 'time-consuming and labor-intensive' to 'efficient and flexible'.

II. Comprehensive Functions, Meeting Living Needs
Container houses are equipped with complete internal facilities and can be freely combined according to functional modules. For instance, the box-type composite barracks at an Air Force field base include independent units for offices, dormitories, dining halls, washrooms, showers, and medical facilities; the new field shower module integrates water heating, temperature control, and showering functions, accommodating up to 24 people simultaneously; the field cultural and sports activity center, transformed from 10 folding containers, provides spaces for learning, entertainment, and fitness, enhancing the quality of life for officers and soldiers. Additionally, the houses are equipped with stoves, televisions, telephones, gas alarms, and other devices, ensuring warmth in cold weather, cleanliness, and tidiness, earning them the nickname 'field hotels' among the troops.

III. Strong Adaptability, Coping with Harsh Environments
Container houses are optimized for different environments. For example, in high-altitude areas, new folding insulated modules made of aluminum alloy materials and featuring new construction structures address insulation challenges in severe cold, accommodating 16 officers and soldiers; in desert regions, lock-type explosion-proof barriers are used, offering quick assembly and disassembly and convenient filling; field tents are employed for simple modules such as cooking units and temporary observation posts. The houses are also equipped with facilities such as mains electricity, oil-powered generators, and warm air blowers to ensure normal operation under harsh conditions such as rain, snow, wind, and sand.
