Container House Fabrication Diagrams
Admin September 10, 2026
Container-house fabrication diagrams mainly cover design concept, structure, and manufacturing process; details follow:

Design concept
A Georgian designer proposed combining two complete shipping containers (new or used) with an outer wrap to create a striking freestanding container residence—an innovative idea for container-house design.
Habitable expandable box-house structure
- Steel frame: Galvanized tubes form the main frame, with beams and columns in middle rooms, providing strong load capacity and stability.
- Walls: Insulated sandwich panels with a core structure that blocks heat and outdoor noise for a more comfortable interior.
- Floor: Multilayer build-up including baseboard, floor covering, and bottom battens. The baseboard supports; the covering adds comfort and looks; bottom battens add cushioning and insulation.
- Roof: Ceiling plus insulation layer—the ceiling keeps the interior neat; insulation further improves thermal performance.
- Doors and windows: Double laminated glass for sound and heat insulation plus safety, raising overall quality.
Manufacturing process
- Floor: Make a base from sawdust board; joists form a wood frame; lay fiberglass as base insulation; cover with rough flooring, apply tile adhesive, then lay the finished floor.
- Walls: Nail studs every 40 cm on the panel board, leave window openings, reinforce with steel nails, spray adhesive, bond plywood under the wall structure and fix with steel nails.
- Assembly: Stand walls on the floor so the plywood outer face extends past the baseboard for cover and seal; fix with adhesive and steel nails; lay fiberboard ceiling; install ceiling joists and end panels and run wiring.
- Interior fit-out: Pack fiberglass between studs for acoustic insulation; lay a plastic-film vapor barrier; install smooth wood wall panels; add axles if RV function is needed.
- Exterior: Cover the container structure with plywood; install painted thin-steel moldings and related parts.
