Container House Design
Container-style house design offers many creative and practical approaches that can be built flexibly for different needs and scenes.

I. Basic combination design Joining multiple containers is a common approach. For example, stagger several containers, fix them firmly on the foundation, then weld for reinforcement to ensure stability. Next remodel doors and windows, add partitions, run utilities, finish the interior, and turn them into a simple, spacious ideal home. This suits residents who need decent space and prefer a simple style. Alternatively, place two containers on opposite sides of the foundation, tightly link them with a steel frame in the middle, lay flooring, and install doors and windows to create a mountain cottage. The look is distinctive and can be expanded—adding a roof structure, remodeling walls, installing stairs and balconies—to meet diverse living needs.
II. Overlapping build design For a fashionable, upscale feel, use overlapping stacking. Stack containers into the desired house form, weld them together, cut away excess walls, and open narrow boxes into spacious rooms. Install floor-to-ceiling windows for light and openness and design a three-story stylish villa. This makes full use of space and creates a modern, artistic living environment.
III. Special terrain design On special terrain, container-style houses can show unique design charm. For example, on a scenic hillside, dig a deep pit on the slope, place containers, design the entry door, cover with earth, and finish indoors and outdoors to create a modern cave villa. The design blends into nature and offers a distinctive living experience.
IV. Box-house classification features Box houses use steel frames and bolt connections, built by combining standardized box units. By structure they fall into three types: traditional shipping-container remodeled box houses, newly welded portable box houses, and demountable portable box houses. They support fast installation and multi-story combination, offering more choices and convenience for container-style house design and construction.
