Container House Ceiling Installation

Admin September 15, 2026

The ceiling installation of container houses can adopt the patented technology of Shanghai Yangpin's metal ceiling system, which simplifies the installation process and reduces costs through the cooperation of installation base plates, lifting structures, and decorative panels. The specific installation points are as follows:

1. Installation of Base Plates
Fix the installation base plates to the inner wall at the top of the container body as the supporting foundation for the ceiling system. The base plates need to be closely attached to the top structure of the container to ensure uniform distribution of the load-bearing capacity and avoid deformation caused by local stress concentration. The material of the base plates can be metal plates compatible with the main body of the container to enhance the overall structural stability.

2. Connection of Lifting Structures
One end of the lifting structure is designed as a hook-shaped bending structure, and the other end is fixed to the installation base plate through bolts or welding. The hook-shaped structure needs to be precisely aligned with the connecting groove at the top of the decorative panel, and mechanical interlocking is achieved using the protruding hook at the top of the connecting groove. Key point: A 3-5mm clearance should be reserved between the hook-shaped structure and the inner wall of the connecting groove to accommodate possible minor deformations at the top of the container and avoid connection failure due to thermal expansion and contraction.

3. Installation of Decorative Panels
The decorative panels are arranged in a parallel and uniform manner, with both ends of each panel cooperating with the hooks of the lifting structure through the connecting grooves. During installation, proceed gradually from one end to the other to ensure that the verticality and levelness deviations of each panel are ≤2mm. The material of the decorative panels can be lightweight metal plates (such as aluminum-magnesium alloys) or fire-resistant calcium silicate boards to meet the fire-resistance and moisture-resistance requirements of different scenarios.

4. Advantages of Simplified Installation
This system abandons the traditional keel structure and directly connects the top of the container to the decorative panels through the lifting structure, reducing the number of intermediate components and shortening the installation steps from the conventional 5-7 steps to 3 steps (base plate installation → lifting structure connection → decorative panel installation). According to patent data, the installation time per square meter can be shortened by 40%, and the material cost can be reduced by about 25%.

5. Adaptation to Special Scenarios
For foldable container houses, a伸缩 (expansion and contraction) clearance for the decorative panels should be reserved at the folding parts (it is recommended to be ≥10mm), and elastic sealing strips should be used to fill the gaps to prevent rainwater leakage. If used in low-temperature environments (such as cold storages), an insulation layer (such as polyurethane foam boards) should be added between the decorative panels and the base plates, and the thickness should be selected according to the temperature difference requirements (conventionally 50mm, and 80-100mm for extremely cold environments).
