Container House Bottom Materials
The main types of materials used for the bottom of container houses include bamboo-wood composite materials, cement boards, moisture-proof wood-grain boards, channel steel and square tube combinations, etc. Details are as follows:

Bamboo-wood composite materials: These are made by gluing bamboo units such as bamboo curtains and bamboo mats with wooden veneers, including plain and covered types. They have abundant raw materials, excellent performance, low cost, and are easy for automated production. They have been certified by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for container standardization. In terms of mechanical properties, the longitudinal and transverse elastic moduli of the optimal plywood structure reach 10629MPa and 3611MPa respectively, and the longitudinal and transverse static bending strengths reach 104MPa and 43MPa respectively.
Cement boards: Mainly fiber cement boards, they are made by adding mineral fibers and other reinforcing materials to a cement base. They have characteristics such as fire resistance, moisture resistance, heat insulation, sound insulation, light weight, and high strength. They are also easy to construct, economical and aesthetically pleasing, safe and harmless, and have a long service life. During production, they need to be pressed by a 7000-ton press to avoid warping and deformation.
Moisture-proof wood-grain boards: Used for floor laying in detachable mobile panel houses, they are not cold to the feet when walked on barefoot. When combined with steel structures, sandwich panels, and other materials, they can achieve a warm winter and cool summer effect.
Channel steel and square tube combinations: As the core structural materials for the base of container houses, channel steel is used for welding the main crossbeams around the upper and lower bases. The column thickness is not less than 1mm, and the bottom is fully connected with square tubes to enhance firmness. Some designs use 9 horizontally placed channel steel columns welded to the channel steel on both sides, which can withstand relatively large pressures.
Other materials: Some container house bottoms may use galvanized steel sheets, corrugated sheets, etc. Among them, corrugated sheets are made by pressing thin steel sheets, with a minimum thickness of 0.6mm, and are available in two material options: black iron and galvanized sheets.
