Container House Air Conditioner Installation
When installing an air conditioner in a container house, it is necessary to select the appropriate air conditioner type according to the purpose of the house and the usage environment, install it in accordance with regulations, and pay attention to installation details and maintenance.

I. Air Conditioner Type Selection Currently, there are three main types of container air conditioners on the market: container hoisting air conditioners, vehicle-mounted container air conditioners, and container wall-mounted air conditioners. Hoisting air conditioners are suitable for containers used in mobile loading and unloading operations; vehicle-mounted air conditioners are suitable for containers used in long-distance transportation; wall-mounted air conditioners are suitable for containers in fixed locations. It is necessary to select the most suitable air conditioner product according to the actual usage situation of the container house.
II. Installation Location Selection
Indoor Unit: It should be placed in a well-ventilated location away from direct sunlight. The air outlet should avoid areas where people stay for long periods to ensure that the airflow can cover the entire room.
Outdoor Unit: Sufficient heat dissipation space should be reserved. The back should be at least 15 cm away from the wall, and the unit should be placed horizontally. At the same time, it should avoid places with direct sunlight, heavy oil fumes, a lot of sand, poor heat dissipation, or high-temperature heat sources, as well as places where flammable gases are likely to leak or where there are strongly corrosive gases.
III. Installation Details
Circuit and Wall: Confirm that the wall is a load-bearing wall or a solid wall. The power circuit should be equipped with a leakage protection device, and the height of the socket and the drainage location should be planned in advance.
Vacuum Pumping: If it is an inverter air conditioner, vacuum pumping is mandatory. For 3-horsepower large-capacity air conditioners, the vacuum pumping time should be appropriately extended. After pumping, maintaining a negative pressure for 2 minutes and having a negative reading on the pressure gauge indicate qualification.
Indoor Unit Leveling and Drainage: The indoor unit should have a slight slope towards the drainage outlet to prevent water leakage in the later stage. The indoor unit mounting plate must be leveled with a spirit level.
Outdoor Unit Fixing and Heat Dissipation: The outdoor unit must be adjusted to a horizontal position to avoid damage to the compressor. The bracket should be made of hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel material, and sufficient return air space should be reserved.
IV. Maintenance Regularly clean the dust inside the container and replace the filter of the container air conditioner, etc. Regular cleaning can ensure air quality, reduce the breeding of germs, and replacing the filter can ensure the ventilation efficiency of the air conditioner and reduce the heat inside the container.
