Container House 3x2.5

Admin September 17, 2026

The container house 3x2.5 refers to a modular small building unit measuring 3 meters in length and 2.5 meters in width. It is typically custom-made by cutting and modifying standard shipping containers or using light steel structures, suitable for temporary living, outdoor duty stations, and other scenarios.

Structural Features

The main body is constructed with a galvanized steel frame + fire-resistant rock wool sandwich panel, with side panel thickness ranging from 50-75mm. It has a wind pressure resistance of ≥1.5kN/m², capable of withstanding general severe weather conditions. The floor is made of 18mm multi-layer plywood + a moisture-proof layer, with a load-bearing capacity of up to 200kg/m², meeting daily activity needs. The standard door opening size is 0.9×2m, and windows can be either sliding or fixed, ensuring both ventilation and security.

Application Scenarios

  1. Temporary Construction Site Dormitories: Compliant with the Environmental and Health Standards for Construction Sites (JGJ146-2013), it can be quickly erected to provide living space for workers.
  2. Outdoor Duty Stations/Epidemic Prevention Checkpoints: Lightweight and easy to move, suitable for traffic checkpoints, community entrances, and other locations.
  3. Miniature Shops or Equipment Storage Rooms: Can be used as small sales kiosks, tool rooms, or temporary warehouses.

Technical Parameters

In terms of thermal insulation performance, the K-value is ≤0.45W/(㎡·K). In northern regions, additional insulation layers are required to enhance heat insulation. With proper maintenance, the service life can reach 8-10 years. Installation is highly efficient, with 2 people able to complete basic assembly in 4 hours, suitable for emergency needs.

Customization Options

  1. Bathroom Module Expansion: Requires pre-embedded drainage pipes and can integrate shower and toilet facilities.
  2. Photovoltaic Power Generation System: The roof must have a load-bearing capacity of ≥80kg/m² to support the installation of solar panels for self-sufficient energy.
  3. Multi-story Stacking: Requires dedicated corner fittings, with a stacking height limit of 3 floors, suitable for sites with limited space.

Precautions

  1. Ground Treatment: Requires 10cm concrete hardening to ensure the stability of the house.
  2. Corrosion Prevention Maintenance: Regularly inspect the steel structure coating, and in coastal areas, repaint annually to prevent rust.
  3. Electrical Safety: Wiring must use flame-retardant conduits and comply with the GB50222-2017 standard to avoid fire hazards.
