Container Hotel House Installation

Admin September 15, 2026

The installation of container hotel houses requires comprehensive consideration of structural stability, installation efficiency, scenario adaptability, and construction specifications. The key points are as follows:

1. Structural Stability and Material Selection The wind and earthquake resistance capabilities of container houses are crucial for safety. The all-steel structural frame (such as the products from Suzhou Zhongnan) has a deformation of only 2mm under a 12-level strong wind, far exceeding the national standard limit. Its fully automatic welding process ensures that the weld strength meets the requirements. In terms of materials, galvanized steel or corrugated plates are preferred for their longer corrosion resistance life, especially suitable for areas with large diurnal temperature differences and significant humidity changes. Regarding the connection method, welded integral containers have better deformation resistance than bolted assembled containers, but the latter are easier to disassemble and reassemble, and a trade-off needs to be made based on the service life.

2. Installation Efficiency and Process Optimization There are significant differences in the installation cycles of different brands:

  • Suzhou Zhongnan Quick-Assembly Containers: It takes 2 hours for a single set, supports splicing and combination, and 10 dormitory sets can be completed in one day;
  • CIMC Standard Containers: It takes 3 hours for a single set, and the layout adjustment is limited;
  • Foldable Containers: Installation can be completed in 3 minutes, requiring 2 people to operate, suitable for temporary scenarios. The key processes include:
  • Foundation Treatment: Remove the floating soil and then compact the original soil layer to avoid uneven settlement;
  • Frame Hoisting: Use steel wire ropes to stabilize the main body and place support rods after unfolding;
  • Wall Fixing: Connect the walls with doors and windows using fastening screws to ensure verticality;
  • Water and Electricity Installation: Reserve circuit interfaces for simple on-site wiring and use.

3. Scenario Adaptability and Customized Design

  • Engineering Camps: Require rapid delivery. Choose the factory prefabrication + on-site quick-assembly mode (such as Suzhou Zhongnan completing the delivery of 1000 sets in 3 months);
  • Commercial Pop-up Stores: Require flexible space adjustment. Give priority to products that support splicing and combination;
  • Long-term On-site Projects: Choose packing containers that have completed interior decoration before leaving the factory and can be used immediately after on-site hoisting. Customized requirements can be combined with functional zoning design. For example, container B&B hotels can divide the living area and the patio area and expand the space by lengthening the container body.

4. Construction Specifications and Quality Control

  • Standard Basis: Follow the Technical Standard for Modular Combination Container Houses (CECS334-2012) and the Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Steel Structures (GB50205-2020);
  • Safety Control: Hoisting operations require supervision by dedicated personnel, and non-working personnel should stay away from the installation area;
  • Waterproof Treatment: Apply PVC special adhesive to the floor joints and weld the floor covering joints to prevent leakage.
