Interior Decoration of Container Finished Houses

Admin September 17, 2026

The interior decoration of container finished houses mainly includes the following steps and key points:

I. Internal Structure Creation
First, the container is segmented and cut. Aluminum alloy windows and glass doors are installed according to design requirements to form the basic indoor space layout. This step requires ensuring cutting precision to avoid damaging the overall structural strength of the container while providing an operating surface for subsequent construction.

II. Installation of Hidden Electrical and Plumbing Works
Light steel keels are used to punch holes along the container's iron sheet and are fixed as support structures for electrical and plumbing lines. During construction, switches and sockets need to be reserved at key positions. Exhaust pipes should extend from the top of the container to the outdoors to ensure the effective operation of the ventilation system. Electrical and plumbing lines should follow the principle of being horizontal and vertical to avoid cross-interference between lines while reserving maintenance space.

III. Ceiling Construction
After the completion of electrical and plumbing works, ceiling treatment is carried out using a layered construction process:

  1. Base Layer Treatment: Foam boards are used as insulation layers to reduce heat transfer between the indoors and outdoors.
  2. Structural Layer: Oriented strand boards are covered to enhance the load-bearing capacity of the ceiling.
  3. Waterproof Layer: Torch-applied membrane waterproofing materials are selected. A continuous waterproof membrane is formed through high-temperature melting, with special attention given to treating areas where pipes penetrate the ceiling to prevent leakage.

IV. Wall Construction

  1. Keel Filling: Foam adhesive is used to fill the inner sides of light steel keels to improve sound insulation and reduce cold bridge phenomena.
  2. Facade Treatment: The outer layer uses high-density stickers as the base layer, which is then covered with gypsum boards for a flat wall surface.
  3. Surface Decoration: Puttying and latex paint application are completed. This requires two coats of construction with an interval of 4-6 hours between each coat to ensure an even coating without sagging.

V. Peripheral Frame Treatment
The outdoor part uses specially made boards to wrap the peripheral frame of the container, protecting the iron sheet from corrosion and enhancing overall aesthetics. Steel frame structures are used around the windows to build leisure areas, which can be combined with anti-corrosion wooden floors or outdoor furniture to expand functionality.

Construction Period and Precautions
Indoor and outdoor construction can be carried out simultaneously. Wall puttying and latex paint work should be carried out continuously to avoid joint marks caused by long intervals. All materials must comply with environmental protection standards, especially in enclosed indoor spaces where the release of harmful substances such as formaldehyde must be strictly controlled. After construction is completed, it is recommended to conduct a ventilation test to ensure the efficiency of the exhaust system meets standards.
