Construction Site Simple Mobile Environmental Toilet

Admin October 01, 2026

There are mainly two types of simple mobile environmental toilets for construction sites: self-made movable restrooms and standardized mobile environmental public toilets.

Self-made Movable Restrooms: These toilets are often repurposed from waste materials by individuals, with a core structure combining a water storage tank and a pallet. Specific operations include fixing universal wheels at the four corners of the pallet bottom for mobility; using water storage tanks recovered from garbage stations, and completing the main body transformation through steps such as cutting openings, stacking and fixing, and cutting again to form doorways; installing basic sanitary facilities such as toilets, faucets, washbasins, and showers inside, and making simple doors. This design is low-cost but suffers from poor structural stability, limited sanitary conditions, and a short service life, making it typically suitable only for short-term, small-scale construction site scenarios.

Standardized Mobile Environmental Public Toilets:

  1. Structure and Materials: The frame is welded from national standard steel, with surfaces covered with anti-corrosion and fire-resistant materials such as color-coated steel plates or carved panels, offering a service life of over 20 years. Some products feature insulated and heat-retaining metal carved panel exteriors and are designed with ridge-shaped roofs to enhance wind resistance.
  2. Functional Systems:
    • Excreta Treatment: Equipped with an independent urinal partition treatment system, the urine channel utilizes gravity self-flow, while the feces channel is cleaned by a piston-type scraper mechanical device, reducing manual intervention.
    • Sanitary Facilities: Equipped with non-slip floors, automatic flushing toilet bowls, ventilation and lighting systems, with some models supporting waterless flushing, foam sealing, or water flushing technical routes.
    • Sub-categories: Covering scenarios such as antique-style, temporary construction site, and marine-use, with product forms including trailer-mounted, box-type substation cabinet-style, and stainless steel guard booth-style, supporting vehicle-mounted mobility or traditional public toilet renovations.
  3. Standards and Certifications: Compliant with the GBLT18091-92 standard, these toilets have been gradually developed since 2012, with continuous expansion in technical routes and product forms.

In addition, some mobile toilets are designed as 30-square-meter integrated structures for construction sites, parks, and other scenarios, featuring metal carved panel exteriors with grille decorations, balancing practicality and aesthetics.
