Styles of Portable Toilets for Construction Sites
There are various styles of portable toilets for construction sites, which can be mainly classified into styles based on structural form, mobility method, sewage treatment method, and other distinctive styles.

In terms of structural form, there are single-unit structure portable toilets and composite-structure portable toilets. Single-unit structure portable toilets are relatively independent and have a simple structure. They are typically suitable for construction site scenarios with limited space or a low demand for the number of toilets. Their setup and relocation are relatively convenient, enabling them to quickly meet temporary usage needs. Composite-structure portable toilets are composed of multiple parts and may have richer functions. For example, they may include multiple independent toilet units and配套 (corresponding) hand-washing areas. They are suitable for larger-scale construction sites with a large number of personnel and can better meet diverse usage needs.
Based on the mobility method, there are lifting/handling-type portable toilets and powered/trailer-type portable toilets. Lifting/handling-type portable toilets mainly rely on lifting equipment or manual handling to change their positions. This type of toilet has high flexibility and can be adjusted at any time according to the construction progress and actual needs of the construction site. However, the relocation process is relatively cumbersome and requires certain equipment and manpower support. Powered/trailer-type portable toilets have their own power systems or can be moved by being towed by vehicles. They have a fast relocation speed and high efficiency, making them suitable for construction sites that require frequent relocation or have long relocation distances.
From the perspective of sewage treatment method, there are water-flush and waterless suction-type portable toilets, as well as recirculating water-flush portable toilets. Water-flush portable toilets use water to flush away excrement, providing a high level of cleanliness. However, they need to be connected to a water source and have a certain demand for water resources. Waterless suction-type portable toilets do not require water and collect excrement through suction, making them suitable for construction sites with a scarcity of water resources. Recirculating water-flush portable toilets recycle the flushing water, which is treated and then used for flushing again. This not only saves water resources but also ensures a certain level of cleanliness.
In addition, there are some other distinctive styles. For example, a young man made a portable toilet using a water storage tank and a pallet, which is convenient and practical. There is also a 4 + 1 stepped portable toilet with a total of 4 squatting positions and an open hand-washing area in the middle. Its exterior walls are made of heat-insulating and flame-retardant metal carved panels, the side door is installed with a titanium-magnesium alloy door, the hand-washing area is equipped with a complete set of bathroom cabinets, the interior walls of the toilet are made of bamboo-wood fiber panels, and it is fully equipped with exhaust fans, tissue boxes, and hooks. The bottom is made of anti-slip tiles, and it can also be customized according to special needs.
