Layout of Portable Toilets at Construction Sites

Admin October 05, 2026

There are mainly three types of layouts for portable toilets at construction sites, and you can choose the appropriate solution based on actual needs:

1. 30-square-meter Gable-roofed Mobile Toilet

This type of toilet has overall dimensions of 10 meters in length and 3 meters in width, featuring a gable-roofed design. The exterior walls are made of thermal-insulating metal carved panels with grille decorations, combining practicality and aesthetics. Its core advantage lies in the multi-squat-position layout, which can meet the simultaneous needs of multiple users, making it suitable for construction sites with high foot traffic and difficulty in accessing toilets. The interior space is reasonably planned to accommodate multiple independent squat positions and is equipped with a ventilation system to improve air quality. Additionally, the metal carved panel exterior walls effectively isolate external temperatures, adapting to different climatic conditions, while the grille decorations enhance the overall visual effect, avoiding the simplicity of traditional construction site toilets.

2. Water Storage Tank-modified Portable Restroom

This solution uses water storage tanks and pallets as base materials, achieving functional integration through modular modification. The specific steps are as follows: Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the pallet bottom for easy mobility; place the water storage tank and cut an opening to form the tank structure, stacking and fixing two tanks to increase space; after cutting out the doorway, install facilities such as a toilet, faucet, sink, and showerhead inside, and install a door to ensure privacy. The flexibility of this type of toilet is its core feature, allowing for adjustments to facility configurations based on actual construction site needs, such as increasing or decreasing the number of squat positions. Meanwhile, the universal wheel design enables quick relocation, adapting to the dynamic changes in construction areas at construction sites.

3. Container-type Mobile Toilet

Using customized containers as carriers, it integrates bathroom functions, such as a 4-unit bathroom design including two toilet positions and two shower positions. Structurally, louvered fans are installed on both sides and the toilet door to enhance ventilation, the floor platform is laid with non-slip aluminum patterned plates for safety, and the bottom main body is welded with galvanized square tubes to enhance structural strength. Functional configurations include a direct-drain energy-saving flush tank, sink, exhaust fan, energy-saving lighting equipment, and a dry-wet separation design with waterproof caulking at the connections. The shower room is equipped with a hot and cold water mixing valve, showerhead, lighting switch, etc., meeting diverse needs. The advantage of this type of toilet lies in its ready-to-use nature. It is a finished product when leaving the factory and can be put into use after being hoisted and connected to water and electricity. For overseas shipments, sub-assembly can be arranged, and assembly instructions can be provided, greatly reducing deployment difficulty.
