Installation Brackets for Portable Toilets on Construction Sites

Admin October 08, 2026

The installation brackets for portable toilets on construction sites mainly fall into two categories: shock-absorbing base brackets and stainless steel waterless packing squat toilet brackets. The key installation points are as follows:

Installation of Shock-Absorbing Base Brackets:

  1. Equipment Inspection: Before installation, thoroughly inspect the equipment and accessories for completeness. Focus on checking for deformation in the base brackets, whether the anchor bolts are complete, and if the rubber gaskets are aged. If the rubber gaskets are aged, replace them promptly to avoid loss of shock-absorbing effectiveness; if the base brackets are deformed, correct or replace them; otherwise, overall stability will be affected.
  2. Ground Preparation: Level the ground according to site conditions and use a level to confirm that the installation area is horizontal. If the ground is uneven, adjust it through bedding or local excavation to prevent inconvenience in use or structural damage after equipment installation.
  3. Bracket Positioning and Leveling: Place the shock-absorbing base brackets steadily on the prepared ground and ensure the overall equipment is level by adjusting the height of the four corners (e.g., using adjustable feet or gaskets). The horizontal state can be verified again with a level to avoid affecting subsequent use due to slight tilts.
  4. Fixing and Reinforcement: Select expansion bolts according to the ground material. For concrete floors, choose expansion bolts of appropriate length (e.g., M10×80mm) to ensure the bolts penetrate deeply into the base layer; for soil floors, first compact and pour a concrete bedding layer, then use long bolts for fixing. When tightening the bolts, operate symmetrically with uniform force to prevent base cracking or equipment shaking due to unilateral stress.

Installation of Stainless Steel Waterless Packing Squat Toilet Brackets:

  1. Selection of Installation Method: Squat toilet brackets come in floor-mounted and in-ground-mounted types. For in-ground-mounted types, perform waterproofing in advance (e.g., applying waterproof coatings or laying waterproof membranes) and ensure strict ground leveling to avoid water leakage and seepage; floor-mounted types do not require in-ground installation but need a level ground to support bracket stability.
  2. Bracket Fixing and Leveling: Install the fixed steel frame combined with rubber gaskets. The rubber gaskets can reduce direct friction between the metal and the ground while providing cushioning. After placing the squat toilet, adjust the steel frame feet or gaskets to make it level and ensure user comfort.
  3. Shell Protection: The stainless steel shell must not directly contact concrete floors or walls and should be isolated with rubber gaskets or plastic gaskets to prevent corrosion of the stainless steel surface by alkaline substances in the concrete, leading to rusting or appearance damage.

Precautions:

  • Wear safety protective equipment (e.g., gloves, goggles) during installation to avoid the risk of cuts or falls.
  • If the installation environment is humid or rainy, perform anti-rust treatment on metal parts (e.g., spraying anti-rust paint).
  • After installation, conduct functional tests, including shock-absorbing effectiveness, fixing firmness, and drainage (if applicable) for smoothness.
