Cost of Portable Toilets at Construction Sites

Admin October 08, 2026

The cost of portable toilets at construction sites varies depending on whether they are purchased or leased, and specific costs need to be comprehensively determined based on factors such as type, specifications, rental duration, and additional services.

I. Purchase Costs

The prices of finished portable toilets vary widely. Basic small models cost around 450 yuan and are suitable for temporary, small-scale construction sites. Mainstream branded models, such as those from Guangzhou Siyihao Company priced at 2,800 yuan per unit, Guangzhou Siya Crafts Company at 2,500 yuan per unit, and Beijing Anbangjie Technology Company at 2,950 yuan per unit, offer complete functions and stable quality, making them suitable for medium- to short-term use. High-end customized models, like those from Cangzhou Hengtai Sanitation Equipment Company, can cost up to 7,500 yuan per unit. These typically use more durable materials and are equipped with intelligent or eco-friendly features, suitable for long-term, high-demand construction sites.
Customized color steel plate portable toilets and similar products have significant price differences, such as 300 yuan for 5 units sold per month, 99 yuan for 11 square meters, and 13,500 yuan for 34 units sold per month. These quotes may involve discounts for different specifications, configurations, or bulk purchases, and specific prices need to be negotiated with suppliers based on actual needs.

II. Rental Costs

When charged by the number of days used, the daily rental cost for one portable toilet may range from 100 yuan to 200 yuan, with specific prices fluctuating based on the toilet's specifications, condition, and rental duration. If the rental period exceeds one month, some companies may offer discounts to reduce long-term usage costs.
When charged based on the number of units and rental period, for example, renting 10 toilets for three months may cost between 20,000 yuan and 30,000 yuan. This model is suitable for large-scale construction sites, simplifying cost calculations and offering overall discounts.
Some rental companies adopt a base fee plus deposit model, charging base fees ranging from 200 yuan to 500 yuan for transportation, installation, and other services, in addition to daily rental fees. A deposit, generally equivalent to the value of a single toilet, is also required and will be refunded after the rental period ends.
In special scenarios, such as those requiring barrier-free facilities, heating functions, or additional cleaning services for nighttime construction, additional fees may apply, and specific arrangements need to be negotiated with the rental company.
