Construction Site Portable Toilet
A construction site portable toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and placed at construction sites and other locations to provide restroom services for workers. The following is an introduction from the aspects of composition, materials, classification, and examples:

Composition: It generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. These components work together to provide users with a complete restroom environment. For example, the fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect and store fecal sewage, preventing direct discharge from causing environmental pollution; sanitary ware such as toilets meets basic restroom needs.
Materials: Initially, materials like wood were used, but later, materials such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) and polyethylene gradually came into use. FRP has characteristics such as being lightweight yet hard, non-conductive, having high mechanical strength, low recycling rate, and being corrosion-resistant; polyethylene has excellent low-temperature resistance, good chemical stability, and can withstand the erosion of most acids and alkalis. The use of these materials makes mobile toilets more durable, lightweight, and easy to move and install.
Classification:
- By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and suitable for places with limited space or single needs; composite-structure toilets are more complex and have more complete functions, meeting various needs.
- By mobility method: They are classified into lifting and handling mobile toilets and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling mobile toilets usually require external equipment for movement; powered and towed mobile toilets have their own power or can be moved by being towed by vehicles, offering higher flexibility.
- By sewage treatment method: They are divided into water-flush and non-water-flush suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Different treatment methods are suitable for different environments and needs. For example, water-flush toilets provide an experience closer to that of traditional toilets but require a certain amount of water resources; dry-packing toilets do not require water and are more environmentally friendly and water-saving.
Examples: A young man used a water storage tank and a pallet to make a mobile restroom; Dezhou Hongtu Metal Products Co., Ltd. customized mobile toilets for workers in a customer's factory, setting different numbers of squatting positions according to the male-to-female ratio; there is also a 4 + 1 stepped mobile restroom with complete functions and customizable features.
