Production methods: There are two approaches: homemade and commercial customization. For homemade toilets, materials such as water storage tanks and pallets can be used. For example, someone took a water storage tank recovered from a garbage station, fixed universal wheels at the bottom of a pallet, placed the water storage tank on the pallet, and after cutting and opening holes, installed components such as a toilet, water pipes, and a washbasin to finally make a portable toilet. Commercial customization is carried out by factories according to customer requirements. For instance, a customer in Zhejiang customized toilets for factory workers. Since there were more men than women, only one squatting position was reserved for women, and seven squatting positions were placed for men.
Commercial product types: There is the 4 + 1 step-type mobile toilet, which has a total of 4 squatting positions and an open washroom in the middle. The exterior wall is made of heat-insulating and flame-retardant metal carved panels, the side door is installed with a titanium-magnesium alloy door, the washroom is equipped with a complete set of bathroom cabinets, the interior wall of the toilet is made of bamboo-wood fiber panels, exhaust fans, tissue boxes, and hooks are fully equipped, and the bottom is made of anti-slip tiles. It can also be customized exclusively according to special needs.
Component structures: It generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor panels, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. These components work together to ensure the normal use and hygiene conditions of the mobile toilet.
Classification situations: According to the structural form, it can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets; according to the moving method, it can be divided into hoisting and handling-type mobile toilets, powered and towed-type mobile toilets; according to the sewage treatment method, it can be divided into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flushing mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets.
