Construction Site Mobile Toilet Temporary Facility

Admin September 27, 2026

Construction site mobile toilets are convenient and practical temporary facilities suitable for construction sites, featuring mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation.

I. Basic Components
Construction site mobile toilets typically consist of core components such as fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. For example, a color-steel double-unit mobile toilet measures 2 meters in length, 1.1 meters in width, and 2.3 meters in height. It uses dark gray color-steel plates as wall materials and is equipped with basic sanitary facilities such as squat toilets and flush tanks inside to meet the basic usage needs of construction site personnel.

II. Classification by Structure and Mobility

  1. Structural Forms: They are divided into single-unit structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-unit structures are usually independent units suitable for sites with limited space; composite structures are composed of multiple modules and can be expanded according to needs, such as double-unit or triple-unit designs.
  2. Mobility Methods: These include lifting and handling-type mobile toilets (relying on lifting equipment or manual handling) and powered and towed-type mobile toilets (equipped with power systems or connectable to vehicles for towing). The latter are more suitable for construction sites requiring frequent relocation, such as cross-regional construction scenarios.

III. Classification by Sewage Treatment Methods

  1. Water-flush and Waterless Suction Types: Water-flush types use water from tanks for flushing and require regular cleaning of sewage tanks; waterless suction types employ vacuum suction technology to reduce water consumption, making them suitable for water-scarce environments.
  2. Recirculating Water-flush Types: Equipped with sewage treatment devices, they purify wastewater for recirculation, reducing water consumption and meeting environmental protection requirements.
  3. Dry Packing Types: These use biodegradable bags to collect feces without flushing. The bags are packed and disposed of uniformly, making them suitable for remote construction sites without drainage facilities.

IV. Core Advantages
The most significant feature of construction site mobile toilets is their mobility, allowing quick relocation according to construction progress and avoiding resource waste caused by the demolition of traditional fixed toilets. Additionally, their modular design supports repeated disassembly and assembly, reducing long-term costs. Some models also feature wind, rain, and heat insulation functions, adapting to harsh weather conditions and ensuring user comfort.
