Installation of Mobile Toilets at Construction Sites

Admin September 21, 2026

The installation of mobile toilets at construction sites requires comprehensive consideration of equipment selection, installation methods, and overall design.

I. Equipment Selection and Installation Methods The core equipment of mobile toilets at construction sites is stainless steel waterless packing squat toilets, which have the advantage of not requiring connection to sewage pipes, making them suitable for temporary use scenarios at construction sites. This equipment offers two installation methods:

  1. Floor-mounted Installation: Directly placed on the ground, suitable for flat and hard surfaces, with easy installation and convenient maintenance.
  2. In-ground Installation: The squat toilet is embedded underground, flush with the ground, reducing the overall height and improving space utilization. However, it requires pre-excavation of a pit and ensuring a stable foundation. Both methods do not require complex piping work and only require connection to a power source (if equipped with automatic packing functionality), effectively reducing construction costs and time.

II. Overall Structure and Transportation Mobile toilets adopt a modular design, with the main frame welded and pre-assembled in the factory. For example, a 3-meter wide by 6-meter long square tube box toilet uses a 10*10cm, 1.5mm thick square tube welded frame to ensure structural strength and wind resistance. The finished product is delivered nationwide via professional transportation vehicles, requiring only simple assembly on-site (such as connecting doors and windows, securing equipment), significantly shortening installation time at construction sites.

III. Functional Zoning and Internal Configuration Mobile toilets at construction sites are typically designed with gender-separated zones. Taking a 3-meter wide by 6-meter long square tube box as an example:

  • Left Side - Men's Restroom: Equipped with multiple stainless steel waterless packing squat toilets to meet the simultaneous use needs of multiple people.
  • Right Side - Women's Restroom: Equipped with the same type of squat toilets, with the quantity adjusted according to actual needs.
  • Common Area: Configured with ceramic sinks, anti-slip flooring, and specialized doors for the container house, enhancing comfort and safety. Ceramic sinks are corrosion-resistant and easy to clean, anti-slip flooring reduces the risk of slipping, and specialized doors ensure privacy and sound insulation.

IV. Installation Precautions

  1. Site Preparation: The installation area must be cleared in advance to ensure a flat and debris-free surface. In-ground installation requires excavation of a pit and pouring of a concrete foundation.
  2. Equipment Commissioning: After installation, check the packing functionality of the squat toilets, the water supply to the sinks (if water-flush type), and the sealing of doors and windows to ensure normal operation.
  3. Safety Regulations: Welding points must be treated for rust prevention, and electrical connections must comply with construction site electrical standards to avoid electrical hazards.
