Construction Site Mobile Public Toilets

Admin September 21, 2026

Construction site mobile public toilets are facilities that can be moved as a whole and set up in fixed or temporary locations to provide toilet services for the public and clients. They are suitable for large construction sites and have advantages such as mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation.

I. Basic Components Construction site mobile public toilets are generally composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices, among other parts. These components work together to ensure the basic functions of the toilet are realized, such as the storage and treatment of feces, and the comfort and hygiene of the toilet environment.

II. Classification Methods

  1. By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and suitable for places with limited space or single needs; composite-structure toilets are more complex and may contain multiple functional areas, such as restrooms and storage rooms, to meet a wider range of usage needs.
  2. By mobility method: They are classified into lifting and handling-type mobile toilets, and powered and towed-type mobile toilets. Lifting and handling-type toilets usually require external equipment for movement and are suitable for large construction sites or places that require frequent relocation; powered and towed-type toilets have autonomous mobility capabilities and are more flexible and convenient.
  3. By sewage treatment method: They are divided into water-flush and waterless suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Water-flush toilets use water resources for flushing, offering high cleanliness but consuming a large amount of water; waterless suction-type toilets use suction devices to treat feces and are suitable for water-scarce areas; circulating water-flush toilets achieve water-saving purposes by recycling water resources; dry-packing toilets pack feces for treatment, requiring no water resources, and are environmentally friendly and convenient.

III. Customization Cases For example, a client in Zhejiang customized mobile toilets for factory workers. According to the gender ratio, one squat position was set up for women and seven for men to meet actual needs. There is also a 4+1 stepped mobile restroom, which includes four squat positions and one open restroom. The exterior walls are made of insulation and flame-retardant materials, and the interior facilities are complete. It can also be customized exclusively according to special needs, reflecting the flexibility and personalization of construction site mobile public toilets.
