Mobile Public Toilets for Construction Sites

Admin October 19, 2026

Mobile public toilets for construction sites are facilities designed to meet the temporary and phased toilet needs at construction sites, featuring diverse materials, flexible structures, easy mobility, and multiple treatment methods.

In terms of materials and design, there are two main types. The first is the simple homemade type, which partially uses materials such as water storage tanks, pallets, and universal wheels. After cutting and fixing, components like toilets, faucets, and washbasins are installed to form a simple structure. This type is low-cost and can be quickly set up. The second is the professionally designed type, which selects eco-friendly and durable materials such as heat-insulating and flame-retardant metal carved panels, titanium-magnesium alloy doors, and bamboo-wood fiber boards. It is equipped with anti-slip tiles, exhaust fans, paper towel dispensers, and other facilities, placing greater emphasis on a user-friendly experience.

In terms of structural form, they are divided into single structures and composite structures. Single structures, such as simple toilets made from a single water storage tank, are suitable for small-scale construction sites. Composite structures, such as multi-squat-position combinations, for example, the '4+1 stepped mobile restroom' which includes 4 squat positions and 1 open washroom, can meet the simultaneous needs of multiple people.

The mobility is flexible, with overall movement achieved through lifting, handling, or powered towing. This allows for quick adaptation to changes in the construction site location, avoiding resource waste caused by adjustments in the construction area.

There are diverse sewage treatment methods, including flushing types (which require connection to a water pipe, and professional designs may adopt circulating flushing systems), non-flushing suction types (which rely on fecal storage tanks for regular cleaning), and dry packing types (which use replaceable fecal bags, being eco-friendly and convenient). In homemade cases, drainage ports formed by cutting water storage tanks are a common drainage method.

They have strong functional expandability, with some designs integrating shower functions (such as construction site shower rooms) or being equipped with storage facilities like bathroom cabinets and hooks to enhance usability.

They have a wide range of application scenarios. In addition to construction sites, they can also be used in temporary public places such as stations, docks, and tourist attractions to make up for the insufficient layout of fixed public toilets. Professional products place greater emphasis on eco-friendliness, durability, user-friendly design, and customized services (such as adjusting the number of squat positions), while homemade cases focus on low cost and quick setup as their core advantages.
