Construction Methods for Prefabricated House Slabs
Admin September 19, 2026
The construction methods for prefabricated house slabs vary depending on the type of prefabricated components. The construction methods for common prefabricated components are as follows:

I. Construction Method for Prefabricated Wall Panels
- Surveying and Setting Out: Determine the installation position of the wall panels according to the design drawings. Use a laser positioning instrument or chalk line to snap control lines to ensure installation accuracy.
- Rebar Positioning and Connection: Fix the rebars using steel plate composite connection technology. Correct misaligned rebars to the design positions to ensure effective anchoring of the rebars with the main structure.
- Shim Leveling: Place adjustable shims at the bottom of the wall panels. Detect and adjust the shim thickness using a level to ensure the verticality and flatness of the wall panels.
- Adhesive Rubber-Plastic Cotton Strips: Adhere elastic sealing materials at the joints of the wall panels to prevent grout leakage during concrete pouring and enhance the structural waterproofing performance.
- Bed Mortar Compartmentalization: Pour high-strength mortar at the bottom of the wall panels to form a uniform bed mortar layer. Compartmentalization can prevent uneven settlement caused by mortar shrinkage.
- Hook Lifting: Use a special lifting fixture hook and slowly lift the wall panels to a position 50 cm above the installation location using a tower crane. Pause to check the lifting stability before continuing to position.
II. Construction Method for Prefabricated Composite Slabs
- Foundation Treatment: Clean up debris on the installation area surface to ensure a flat and solid base layer. Repair or grind uneven areas.
- Determine Installation Position: Use a total station or level to verify the installation position according to the design elevation and axis. Mark the boundary lines of the composite slabs.
- Install Supports: Set up adjustable steel supports below the composite slabs. The support spacing should meet the design requirements. Adjust the support height using a level to ensure that the horizontal error of the composite slabs after installation is ≤3 mm.
III. Construction Method for Prefabricated Exterior Wall Cladding Panels
- Floor Cleaning and Elevation Verification: Remove debris from the floor and detect the relative elevation of the prefabricated cladding panel positions. Grind or repair the floor if the error exceeds 5 mm.
- Positioning Line Layout: Snap the positioning edge lines and control lines of the cladding panels on the floor slab. Use a laser line projector to assist in positioning to ensure installation accuracy.
- Elevation Adjustment and Grout Leakage Prevention: Place elevation adjustment shims to the design height. Adhere grout leakage prevention adhesive strips at the joints between the cladding panels and the cast-in-place structure to prevent grout leakage during concrete pouring.
- Lifting and Positioning: Slowly lift the cladding panels to a height of 50 cm above the ground using a tower crane. Pause to check the stability of the lifting fixtures before continuing to lift to a position 50 cm above the working layer. Construction personnel hold the cladding panels to control the falling direction and slowly lower them to the shim positions.
- Support Adjustment and Verticality Correction: Install upper and lower diagonal supports. Adjust the inner and outer positions of the cladding panels using the lower supports and precisely adjust the wall verticality using the upper supports. Use a level to detect that the verticality error is ≤5 mm before fixing.
