Movable Wooden Door for Community Toilet
When installing a movable wooden door in a community toilet, it is necessary to comprehensively consider factors such as space adaptability, size selection, installation requirements, safety hazards, and purchasing points, as detailed below:

1. Space Adaptability
Movable wooden doors open and close by sliding, making them suitable for bathrooms with limited space as they save the space required for a swinging door. If the bathroom is large and has proper wet-dry separation, you can refer to villa cases and use an embedded sliding wooden door. Reserve a groove in the door frame so that it can be pushed in and hidden when not in use, saving space while maintaining ventilation and spaciousness. If the area is small and there is no wet-dry separation, wooden doors are prone to moisture damage and deformation. It is recommended to replace them with glass sliding doors, which have better waterproof performance and a longer service life.
2. Size Selection
The thickness and size of the sliding door need to be flexibly adjusted according to the actual size of the bathroom. The standard door opening width is 700mm, and a single-sided sliding door requires a clear width of 650mm. Large sliding doors commonly have a thickness of 100mm, while small sliding doors are mostly 40mm thick. If choosing a single-sided sliding door, the bathroom should have at least a clear width of 650mm to avoid affecting passage or furniture placement.
3. Installation Requirements
Before installation, measure the height and width of the wall: A door opening height of less than 1.95 meters can make people feel oppressed. For suspended sliding doors, reserve space for the track box, with a minimum height of 12 centimeters at the top. The height of the bathroom wall should be at least 207 centimeters. If using a hanging track design for an embedded sliding door, the track should be pre-buried during the woodworking ceiling stage, and communicate the track size with the merchant in advance to ensure installation accuracy.
4. Safety Hazards
The track material directly affects the service life: Poor-quality tracks are prone to problems such as inflexible opening and closing and noise due to long-term use. The quality of the pulleys is also crucial; poor-quality pulleys may cause the door to derail during sliding, posing a safety hazard. It is recommended to choose stainless steel or aluminum alloy tracks and pair them with high-precision bearing pulleys to ensure smooth sliding and durability.
5. Purchasing Points
Sealing is a key indicator: High-quality movable wooden doors should have moisture-proof and odor-proof functions, especially suitable for bathrooms without wet-dry separation. The pulley material should preferably be nylon or steel bearings to reduce friction noise and extend the service life. In addition, you can request the merchant to provide waterproof treatment services to enhance the moisture resistance of the wooden door.
