Comprehensive List of Codes for Prefabricated Building Components
Admin September 18, 2026
The codes for prefabricated building components are uniformly named according to national standards. Below are the codes and descriptions for some common prefabricated building components:

I. Wall Components
- Prefabricated Exterior Wall: Code YWQ. For example, YWQ1 represents a prefabricated exterior wall with the serial number 1. Prefabricated exterior walls are an important part of the building envelope, typically featuring functions such as thermal insulation, heat insulation, and waterproofing.
- Prefabricated Interior Wall: Code YNQ. For example, YNQ5a represents a prefabricated concrete interior wall panel in a certain project, which is identical to the already numbered YNQ5 except for the position of the electrical outlet. Prefabricated interior walls are mainly used to divide indoor spaces and improve construction efficiency.
II. Post-Pouring Section Components
- Post-Pouring Section of Prefabricated Edge Components: Code YHJ. For example, YHJ1 represents a post-pouring section of a prefabricated edge component with the serial number 1. Post-pouring sections are used to connect prefabricated components, ensuring the overall integrity and stability of the structure.
- Post-Pouring Section of Structural Edge Components: Code GHJ. For example, GHJ5 represents a post-pouring section of a structural edge component with the serial number 5. Structural edge post-pouring sections are typically installed at the edges of the structure to enhance its seismic resistance.
- Post-Pouring Section of Non-Edge Hidden Columns: Code AHJ. For example, AHJ3 represents a post-pouring section of a non-edge hidden column with the serial number 3. Non-edge hidden column post-pouring sections are used to connect hidden columns at non-edge positions, improving the load-bearing capacity of the structure.
III. Beam and Slab Components
- Prefabricated Composite Beam: Code DL. For example, DL1 represents a prefabricated composite beam with the serial number 1; DLL3 represents a prefabricated composite connecting beam with the serial number 3. Composite beams consist of a prefabricated part and a cast-in-place part, offering advantages such as fast construction speed and good overall integrity.
- Composite Floor Slab: The codes vary depending on the type of floor slab. DLB3 represents a composite floor slab with the serial number 3; DWB2 represents a composite roof slab with the serial number 2; DXB1 represents a composite cantilever slab with the serial number 1. Composite floor slabs also consist of prefabricated and cast-in-place parts, suitable for various building types.
IV. Stair and Balcony Components
- Prefabricated Stairs: The codes vary depending on the type and parameters of the stairs. For example, ST - 28 - 25 represents a prefabricated reinforced concrete slab-type stair with a double-run configuration, a floor height of 2800mm, and a stairwell width of 2500mm; JT - 29 - 26 represents a prefabricated reinforced concrete slab-type stair with a scissor configuration, a floor height of 2900mm, and a stairwell width of 2600mm.
- Prefabricated Balcony Panels, Air Conditioning Panels, and Parapets: For example, YKTB2 represents a prefabricated air conditioning panel with the serial number 2; YYTB3a represents a prefabricated balcony panel in a certain project that is identical to the already numbered YYTB3 except for the position of the opening. These components are typically customized according to building requirements to meet different functional needs.
