Tips for Cleaning Portable Toilets
The tips for cleaning portable toilets mainly include pre-treatment isolation, standardized cleaning procedures, the use of new cleaning materials, and the assistance of intelligent equipment.

Pre-treatment isolation method: Before a portable toilet is put into use, biodegradable decomposition pads can be laid in the toilet bowl. These pads can accelerate the decomposition of organic matter such as feces, reduce the adhesion of dirt, and lower the difficulty of subsequent cleaning. High-concentration microbial agents can also be added to utilize the metabolic action of microorganisms to decompose organic matter and suppress odor generation. At the same time, an anti-odor check valve can be installed at the entrance of the sewage pipe to prevent sewage backflow and odor emission, improving the toilet environment from the source.
Standardized cleaning procedures: During the cleaning operation, adopt a "dry first, then wet" process. First, use a scraper or vacuum cleaner to remove visible solid waste to prevent solid dirt from clogging pipes or affecting the cleaning effect during subsequent cleaning. Then, use high-pressure hot water (at a temperature above 60°C) combined with a neutral cleaning agent to flush the inner walls. The high-temperature hot water can effectively dissolve grease and dirt, and the neutral cleaning agent will not corrode the toilet facilities. The combination of the two can achieve a good cleaning effect. Finally, use a UV lamp or ozone generator for closed disinfection. UV light can destroy the DNA structure of microorganisms, and ozone has strong oxidizing properties, which can kill bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens, ensuring the hygiene and safety of the toilet.
Use of new cleaning materials: New enzyme-based cleaning agents can be used. The enzymes they contain can specifically decompose organic matter such as proteins and fats, breaking down large molecules into small molecules for easier cleaning and removal. Nano-silver antibacterial coatings can also be adopted. Nano-silver has broad-spectrum antibacterial properties, can inhibit the growth and reproduction of bacteria, reduce odor generation, and extend the cleaning cycle of the toilet.
Assistance of intelligent equipment for cleaning: Portable toilets equipped with liquid level sensors and IoT modules can monitor the dirt liquid level in the toilet in real-time. When the liquid level reaches the set value, a cleaning work order is automatically issued to remind the staff to clean it in a timely manner and avoid dirt overflow. Mobile vacuum sewage trucks can extract dirt through negative pressure and simultaneously perform pipeline backflushing, quickly and efficiently completing sewage discharge and pipeline cleaning work.
