Chuzhou Fireproof Container House
Admin September 15, 2026
Chuzhou fireproof container houses typically use rock wool as the core material, possessing excellent fire resistance. Strict fire safety regulations must be followed during design, installation, and use to ensure safety.

Fireproof Materials and Structure
- Core Material Selection: The key to fireproof container houses lies in the fireproof materials used. In most cases, these houses use rock wool as the core material. Rock wool is a Class A non-combustible material with outstanding fire resistance. It does not soften or deform even at temperatures as high as 800℃ and does not release toxic fumes during fires.
- Structural Framework: Besides the core material, the structural framework of the house is also crucial. Generally, hot-dip galvanized square tubes are used as the main framework material. This material forms a high-strength composite structure through the metallurgical bonding of a zinc alloy coating with steel, effectively withstanding the impact of extreme weather and stacking loads.
Installation and Usage Regulations
- Keep Away from Fire Sources: During installation, ensure that the core material is kept away from open-flame work environments such as electric welding and gas welding to prevent accidental fires.
- Isolate Heat Sources: During use, heat sources and fire sources should be kept at a certain distance from the steel plates. If a kitchen needs to be set up inside the house, install a thermal insulation layer and add fireproof rock wool insulation boards on the walls connected to the kitchen.
- Electrical Safety: Wires and cables should not directly pass through the core material. If necessary, install protective sleeves. Socket and switch boxes should be made of metal galvanized boxes and installed using an exposed method to reduce fire risks.
Fire Prevention Measures and Configurations
- Fire Extinguishing Equipment: The house should be equipped with simple fire extinguishing equipment for timely firefighting in the early stages of a fire.
- Safety Distance: If multiple mobile houses need to be installed, a safety distance of at least 6 meters should be maintained between double-story mobile houses to prevent the spread of fire.
- Fire Alarms: If possible, install fire alarms to quickly notify personnel to evacuate in the event of a fire.
