Chongming County Finished Portable Toilet

The following are the key points for renting, selecting, and maintaining finished portable toilets in Chongming County (now part of Chongming District, Shanghai):

I. Rental Services and Fees

There are multiple local rental service providers for portable toilets in Chongming, offering two options: basic models and high-end customized models.

• Basic models: The rental fee is approximately 200-400 yuan per day, suitable for ordinary event scenarios, with functions mainly focused on basic sanitation needs.
• High-end customized models: The rental fee can reach over 800 yuan per day, equipped with more comprehensive facilities (such as independent sinks, air conditioners, intelligent flushing systems, etc.), suitable for events or high-end venues with higher sanitation requirements.
Price fluctuations during peak seasons: During peak seasons such as holidays, rental prices may increase by 15%-20%. It is recommended to complete reservations 1 week in advance to avoid resource shortages.

II. Selection Criteria

1. Quantity Allocation

   • Generally, allocate 1 toilet for every 50-100 people based on the event scale. If the event lasts more than half a day, it is recommended to add 1-2 backup toilets.
   • Example: For an event with 200 people, at least 3 portable toilets (including 1 for men, 1 for women, and 1 accessible toilet) should be prepared to ensure usage efficiency.

2. Site Adaptability

   • Soft ground: As Chongming is mostly wetland or rural areas, it is recommended to choose portable toilets with legs to avoid sinking due to soft ground.
   • Near water sources: Ensure that the toilet's drainage system complies with local environmental protection requirements to avoid water pollution.
   • Scenic spots or ecological parks: Some areas may require the use of eco-friendly toilets (such as waterless ecological toilets), and it is necessary to confirm regulations with the management in advance.

3. Daily Maintenance

   • Cleaning frequency: Conduct at least 2 comprehensive cleanings per day during the event, focusing on checking the flushing system, toilet paper supply, and trash can emptying.
   • Hot weather: It is recommended to choose portable toilets with sunshades and place cooling equipment (such as fans). Additionally, arrange for staff to guide usage to avoid disorder.

III. Other Information

Shanghai Weize Environmental Protection Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd. (located in Fengxian District) provides portable toilet-related services, but it is not clear whether they cover Chongming District. For cross-district services, it is recommended to contact them in advance to confirm transportation and installation details.

Summary: The rental of finished portable toilets in Chongming District should be selected based on a combination of event scale, site conditions, and budget. Reservations should be made in advance during peak seasons, and daily maintenance should focus on cleaning and functional checks to ensure a good user experience.
