Chengdu Street Mobile Smart Toilet
The mobile smart toilets on the streets of Chengdu have multiple functions and features, covering aspects such as appearance, facilities, technology, and operational models.

Appearance and Functional Zones: The 11 smart toilets customized for the World Games in Chengdu have a modern and elegant appearance, featuring functional zones such as a comprehensive toilet area and a men's urinal area, with relevant promotional content displayed on the front. This design not only meets the usage needs of different groups of people but also enhances the city's image through the promotional content.
Facility Equipment: The toilets are equipped with sensor doors at the entrance that automatically open and are accompanied by bilingual (Chinese and English) voice prompts, facilitating use by both domestic and international users. In addition to conventional handwashing stations, paper towels, and power banks in the public area, there are also AED emergency devices and two electronic screens that display real-time information such as time, temperature, humidity, odor levels, and the number of daily users. The smart toilet stall guidance system shows available stalls through electronic screens or indicator lights, avoiding queues. Inside the stalls, there are handrails, one-touch emergency buttons, and both squat and toilet options to cater to different habits. Each toilet covers an area of about 30 square meters and is equipped with a fresh air system, deodorization system, and air conditioning to ensure a comfortable internal environment.
Technological Breakthroughs: These smart toilets have broken through the traditional technological bottlenecks of lacking sewers and septic tanks. Through on-site, reduction, and harmless treatment technologies, they convert human waste into recyclable resources. The toilets adopt an industrial assembly-line production model, where they are debugged and tested in the factory before being transported to the site for installation and immediate use, significantly shortening the construction cycle and reducing the impact on the environment.
Operational Model: In Pidu District, nearly 10 multi-functional smart toilets that integrate commerce and public health have been deployed, and the enterprise plans to gradually deploy 200 more across the district, forming 200 small complexes. These toilets not only provide toilet services but also invite roadside vendors to set up shop, enhancing convenience through commercial functions while regulating urban management. In addition, there are other types of mobile toilets on the streets of Chengdu, with differences in price and functionality among products from different manufacturers, but all aiming to improve public service efficiency.
