Chengdu Mobile Toilet Installation Guide

Admin October 09, 2026

The installation guide for mobile toilets in Chengdu can be divided into three core steps: preparation, frame assembly, and detail handling and finishing work. Specific operations need to be adjusted according to the sewage disposal method and model characteristics.

I. Preparation Stage

  1. Site Confirmation: Choose an area with a flat ground and sufficient load-bearing capacity to prevent toilet tilting or damage due to unstable foundations. At the same time, check whether the sewage pipes are unobstructed (especially important for flush-type toilets), and ensure that the ground levelness error does not exceed 5mm to prevent structural problems during subsequent installation.
  2. Model Selection: Select the sewage disposal method according to the usage scenario (such as scenic spots or construction sites) and requirements. Packing-type toilets are suitable for areas without sewage pipes, collecting waste in biodegradable bags. Microbial degradation-type toilets use bacteria to decompose waste and require regular addition of bacterial agents. Flush-type toilets need to be connected to municipal sewage pipes and are suitable for fixed locations.
  3. Tools and Safety: Prepare tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and spirit levels. Mark out the construction area and set up warning signs to prevent unauthorized access. If installing in a public area, coordinate in advance for the connection of electricity or water (required for flush-type toilets).

II. Frame Assembly

  1. Base Fixing: Place the base at the predetermined position and fix it to the ground with expansion bolts or chemical anchors, ensuring complete contact between the base and the ground. Use a spirit level to adjust the base levelness, with an error control within 2mm.
  2. Wall Installation: Connect the right, left, and front wall panels in sequence and tighten the interfaces with special screws. Pay attention to the direction of the panels (usually marked) to avoid incorrect installation leading to poor sealing. Two people should cooperate in the operation, with one person holding the panel steady and the other tightening the screws to prevent tipping.
  3. Top Structure: Install upper slots to support the roof cover, with evenly spaced slots (generally not exceeding 50cm). When installing ventilation louvers, ensure that the blade angles are adjustable (usually 15°-30°) to optimize air circulation. Finally, cover the roof and check that the gap between the roof and the walls is less than 3mm to prevent rainwater infiltration.

III. Detail Handling and Finishing Work

  1. Cleaning and Inspection: Wipe the inside and outside surfaces of the toilet with a neutral detergent to remove oil stains or dust left over from installation. Check all bolts and nuts one by one and tighten them to the specified value with a torque wrench (e.g., M8 screws need to reach 25N·m) to prevent loosening.
  2. Sewage Disposal: Flush-type toilets need to be connected to sewer pipes, with a pipe slope of ≥1% to ensure natural drainage of sewage. Packing-type toilets need to be filled with sufficient biodegradable bags, and microbial degradation-type toilets need to add initial bacterial agents and start the ventilation system.
  3. Maintenance Training: Provide the user with a daily maintenance guide, including cleaning frequency (recommended once a day), consumable replacement cycle (e.g., biodegradable bags should be replaced every 50 uses), and simple troubleshooting methods (e.g., checking the motor for ventilation failures).

Special Tips: When moving, find the balance point according to the toilet design (near the top for pointed-roof toilets and use pre-set lifting hooks for flat-roof toilets). Small toilets can be moved manually with casters, while large ones require crane operations to avoid collision damage to the structure.
