Mobile Toilets in Chengdu High-tech Zone
The mobile toilets in Chengdu High-tech Zone, represented by the "Easy Rest Stop," are characterized by innovative setups, advanced technologies, and high-quality experiences.

Technological Innovation and Environmental Advantages
The "Easy Rest Stop" employs a series of advanced technologies to effectively address issues found in traditional toilets. The use of vacuum suction, microbial degradation, and air sterilization technologies circumvents the problems of foul odors and the "not-in-my-backyard" (NIMBY) effect associated with traditional toilets. Among these, the foam micro-water flushing technology reduces water consumption for toilet use by half, conserving water resources while also reducing sewage discharge, aligning with environmental protection principles.
Diverse Functions and Human-Centric Design
The rest stops offer a wide range of functions, comprising public restrooms, vending machines, and shared charging facilities, among others. Screens display the usage status of the restrooms, as well as temperature, humidity, and weather conditions, allowing users to obtain relevant information in advance. Shared power banks and scan-to-obtain tissues are available inside the stations, meeting emergency needs in public spaces. Each rest stop contains four independent restrooms equipped with grab bars and emergency buttons, designed with the needs of the elderly and disabled in mind, reflecting a human-centric approach.
Large-Scale Construction and Increased Public Toilet Density
Chengdu High-tech Zone has constructed 50 such smart mobile public toilets, providing residents and visitors with more toilet options. Additionally, the zone has combined the renovation of old residential areas, urban renewal, and new district development to increase the provision of public toilet facilities while constructing new mobile toilets, effectively raising the density of public toilets. Furthermore, the zone encourages social public toilets to join the "Toilet Alliance," activating existing toilet resources. Currently, about 1,000 public toilets have joined the alliance, further optimizing the layout of public toilets and enhancing the overall service level of public toilets in the central urban area.
