Mobile Chemical Toilet

Admin September 21, 2026

Mobile chemical toilet products come in a variety of types, with prices varying based on specifications and functions. Sewage and deodorization technologies are the core functional supports.

I. Product Types and Price Ranges

Mobile chemical toilet products mainly fall into two categories:

  1. Portable Lightweight Chemical Toilets: These are mostly made of HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), weighing approximately 85KG, and are suitable for scenarios such as hospitals and temporary events. The price range is ¥3,337.80-4,005.36, with a minimum order quantity of 10 sets. These products emphasize portability and durability, making them suitable for high-frequency mobility needs.
  2. Low-Cost Ready-Made Chemical Toilets: Provided by portable toilet manufacturers, these have a price range of ¥871.90-1,334.68, with a minimum order quantity of 5 square meters. These products may focus more on basic functions and are suitable for scenarios with limited budgets or short-term use.

II. Sewage Treatment Technology

Chemical treatment is a traditional sewage disposal method for mobile toilets. Its principle involves accelerating waste decomposition by adding chemicals (such as chlorine gas and sodium hydroxide). The specific process includes:

  • Solid-Liquid Separation: Chemicals promote the separation of solids and liquids in waste, reducing the difficulty of subsequent treatment.
  • Odor Control: Oxidizing agents like chlorine gas can break down the structure of organic matter, inhibit the reproduction of anaerobic bacteria, and thus reduce the release of odorous gases such as hydrogen sulfide and ammonia.
  • Safety Precautions: Sodium hydroxide is highly corrosive and must be added strictly according to the ratio to avoid damage to equipment or the environment.

III. Deodorization Technology

Chemical deodorization methods are divided into two categories, targeting different odor sources:

  1. Oxidizing Deodorizers: Represented by chlorine dioxide solution, these break down odor molecules (such as hydrogen sulfide and methyl mercaptan) through strong oxidizing properties, eliminating odors at the source. These deodorizers have a long-lasting effect but require concentration control to avoid irritation.
  2. Masking Deodorizers: These are plant essential oil formulations containing limonene or citronellol, which mask odors by emitting a pleasant fragrance. This method is suitable for scenarios sensitive to irritating odors but requires regular reapplication to maintain the effect.

IV. Application Scenario Recommendations

  • Hospitals/Nursing Homes: Prioritize portable lightweight HDPE toilets combined with oxidizing deodorizers to ensure hygiene and low irritation.
  • Outdoor Activities/Construction Sites: Low-cost ready-made toilets can meet short-term needs, and masking deodorizers can quickly improve air quality.
  • Long-Term Use Scenarios: Regular maintenance of the sewage system is required to avoid blockages caused by chemical residues in the pipes.

The selection of mobile chemical toilet products should consider budget, usage frequency, and scenario requirements, while the reasonable application of sewage and deodorization technologies is key to ensuring their functionality.
