Features of Chaoshan Container Houses

Admin September 15, 2026

Chaoshan container houses are characterized by durability, easy construction, flexible combination, strong adaptability, and environmental protection and energy efficiency.

I. Durability
The main body of the container house is made of high-strength steel, with a sturdy structure and excellent earthquake resistance and deformation resistance. Using light steel as the framework and sandwich panels as the enclosure material, high-strength galvanized hinges are used for connections between the base and each wall, as well as between walls. The packing-box units generally weigh around 1350 kg and can withstand winds of over magnitude 8. Meanwhile, strict sealing processes ensure overall airtightness and watertightness, effectively preventing leakage and moisture, ensuring safety, stability, and long-lasting durability with a theoretical service life of over twenty years.

II. Easy Construction
Container houses adopt standardized design and production methods, simplifying the construction process. After most of the processes are completed in the factory, the components are transported to the site for rapid assembly. Modular assembly can be achieved without pouring a heavy foundation, significantly reducing on-site construction time and quickly meeting housing demands, especially suitable for construction projects with tight schedules.

III. Flexible Combination
The movable box units are based on standardized steel structures and can be flexibly assembled and combined according to actual needs, easily creating various functional spaces such as office areas, living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and storage rooms. The standard specifications are 2.4 meters in width, 2.2 meters in height, and lengths ranging from 4 to 12 meters. The layout is compact, with strong adaptability, taking into account both transportation convenience and on-site rapid installation efficiency to meet diverse application scenarios.

IV. Strong Adaptability
All connection points of the detachable integrated houses use detachable fasteners. After disassembly, each component can be sorted and packed for storage, and the original structural form can still be maintained during secondary assembly, making them suitable for staged work housing and short-term camp construction. Moreover, based on local geological conditions and climatic characteristics, layout drawings, load calculations, and water and electricity access node diagrams can be provided to adapt to different environments.

V. Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency
The houses are prefabricated in the factory with low carbon emissions, and there is zero pollution during on-site construction. The reuse of components can reduce building material consumption, aligning with the concept of green environmental protection.
