I. Intelligent Long-term Management and Maintenance Anhui Mobile, in collaboration with the Chaohu Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, has established an intelligent long-term management and maintenance information platform for rural sanitary toilets. This platform enhances management and maintenance efficiency and quality through information and intelligent means. It constructs a multi-level management and maintenance system at the city, town, and village levels, achieving three-tier toilet management records at the village, town, and city levels. Data is collected in real-time through sensors and integrated into the platform, supporting the viewing of toilet usage, fecal sludge transportation and cleaning, toilet fixture repairs, fecal collection vehicle norms, and driving routes on a single map. The government can collect residents' opinions on toilet renovation work through the platform, grasp management and maintenance progress in real-time, and ensure the long-term effective operation of toilet renovation work. As of now, the project has covered more than 65,000 households in 13 towns and sub-districts in Chaohu City.
II. Engineering Renovation and New Mobile Public Toilets The 2025 rural household toilet renovation project in Miaogang Town, Chaohu City, was won by Anhui Hanqing Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., with a winning bid amount of 54,960 yuan and a performance period of 30 calendar days. In addition, the new mobile public toilets promoted in new rural construction are renovated from shipping containers, fully equipped and cost-effective, enabling the renovation of dry toilets without traditional brick and tile construction. Their structure adopts steel column skeletons, offering better wind and earthquake resistance than traditional color steel plate houses. The wall panels use Class A rock wool composite panels and are equipped with windproof columns to ensure stability and durability. The toilet dimensions are 6 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.8 meters in height, providing comfortable and safe use after waterproofing treatment, suitable for camping sites, commercial streets, night markets, parks, construction sites, and other scenarios. If shower facilities are added, they can also meet the needs of amusement venues such as water parks and rafting. Compared to concrete-poured toilets, their advantages lie in easy mobility, low cost, time and labor savings, and environmental friendliness with no industrial waste.
III. Microbial Degradation Mobile Toilets Microbial degradation mobile toilets use biotechnology for on-site harmless treatment of excreta, significantly reducing the frequency of collection and transportation and the risk of secondary pollution, especially suitable for areas without upper and lower water supply networks, ecologically sensitive areas, or temporary venues.
